this is interesting so Javascript can now be used for server-side which removes the need for Ruby on Rails and Django basically? can someone summaries this article, time is of the essence.

I mostly work with NPM and Node also Bower. Very powerful tools

I agree Buddhism is not like any other religion based on fear but rather compassion, peace, happiness and most of all GRATITUDE. the number one key to happiness is to show gratitude for the little things we have.

Everything JetBrains makes is just pure awesome. Any suggestion for a full blown Javascript IDE?

which one do you buy and how much are they?

This is fun. Neat work!

10. Practice gratitude – increase both happiness and life satisfaction

This is true. A lot of us ungrateful in life sometimes and we forgot the little things like family, friends and having some basic things we need in life to survive.

I've always wanted to try this any tips?

Why is there Java in Javascript?

And this might get worse because population is increasing so rapidly.

Is this cool or what?. Very nice! I can see people learning how to code with this also by seeing it done the right way.

Nice concept! would be interesting to play this with 0 A.D or Age of Empires.

I love this, I could see this being the next wave of programming tutorials, much simpler and fun way to learn how to program. Could you do one for Python? that would be just brilliant.

Idk about you guys but I love PHP. After using new technology for Web Development PHP makes me feel nostalgic. I really enjoy PHP's ease of learning for Web Development. It's easy to understand Databases and Server-side programming using PHP than it is using Ruby on Rails, IMO It feels like magic using Ruby on Rails.

This sounds interesting, I would appreciate for some tips on how to go about the Live CD or choosing the right Distro something other than Ubuntu.

How you can write code if you don't know what you're writing. Reading those programming books perhaps gave you the idea of what to write about right?

Python in general is an awesome fun language to work in this just makes the language even more better and fun to work with. Thanks JetBrains!

I could definitely use this, very neat.

I agree, It's annoying taking the extra sign up process just to get Gravatar they need to fix that.

Thanks I'll check this out.

I haven't tried that physically fit part I should try that I get lazy sometimes but I do want to get buff.

This looks really interesting. I'll check this out.

Interesting, thank you.

Thanks everyone you guys are all very helpful. All the information in this thread should keep me busy for a long time. Exactly what I was looking for!

All of the above sounds good.

https://www.coursera.org/ there is enough material and knowledge on this site to stay busy for years to come.

Books or Netflix?

this is so cool

I like this, you should include Udacity for the Python section. They teach everything from Basic Python to web development to software testing and even debugging. Can't find better resource for Python than https://www.udacity.com

This game is just pure awesome. I think all this hype is largely due to the previous generation GTA games. I've played all the other ones. Favorites are Vice City and San Andreas. Previous versions definitely led the way for a great promotion and grand opening for this game. The game play is mind blowing.

I'm surprised the revenue surpassed Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 though that is one of the most popular games out now and sold out on just the pre-order.
