The only comparable public alternative to the Wayback Machine is archive.today. But as far as I know, no one knows who operates or funds the project. It could go down anytime and no one can do anything about it.

It has almost always worked on my devices though.

Check out Bibliogram[0], an alternate front-end for Instagram. Most of their instances[1] are partially blocked, but you can still view the recent posts and zoom in on them.

It seems to me like youtube-dl is also abandoned.

yt-dlp[0] is a fork with additional features and fixes. It is also actively maintained.
