Lue Elizondo is a highly fringe person, and has been for decades. He ‘learned’ remote viewing from Hal Puthoff, and claims he used it to somehow remotely interact with insurgents in Afghanistan. He also claims that he routinely sees colorful orbs floating around his house. He has also been caught faking UFO footage.

Is it microplastics or nanoplastics or both?
How many types of plastic are there, half a dozen? What type of plastic do you want to test, what about multiple plastics in different proportions?
It can be difficult to identify mechanisms behind adverse reactions to more obvious stressors, let alone something like this which appears more chronic, long-term, and insidious.

If you want to point to a single factor as having / not having an effect between 2 groups you need to account for other factors. You could setup a statistical model.
So to be clear, the fact that policemen in the US/UK do/don’t carry guns and have higher/lower crime rate doesn’t prove anything on its own.
The only preparations I’ve seen so far are 5 million H5N1 vaccines being made, and they seem to be pretty good about cataloging variants in case they’re needed for future vaccine production.
At a minimum I thought at least some dedicated officials would have an up-to-date detailed crash plan (which I will post here if I ever find it), even if they’re not actually putting resources to the problem.
Once this thing gets into pigs or some dairy worker contracts it and gets a seasonal flu strain at the same time, it sounds like we will be in big trouble. Former CDC director Rob Redfield is already saying he expects it to cross over and have significant mortality.
I’ve been migrating away from social media forums back to email newsletters just for better content. Feels weird to be saying that.
I wish this were the case, but algos seem to prioritize engagement at the expense of experience. I wish they’d give us more granular control instead of an algo black box secret sauce. I’m increasingly so exhausted that I end up not exploring new context at all.
