senthil_rajasekon Taylor Farms has rewritten its cyclospora statement four times in sixteen days

I have not been following this very closely but it seems like the source of this cyclospora contamination has been very challenging to identify.

Especially because it takes weeks before the infected start showing symptoms.

Isn't it reasonable to update the official statement as new information emerges?

senthil_rajasekon Wind turbine is being used to produce zero-carbon "green ammonia" fertilizer

What if the Ammonia is used locally? Potentially, in that Minnesota farm.

It eliminates the need to connect the turbine to the grid.

senthil_rajasekon Underarm bowling incident of 1981

Aahh video games that's clever. I apologize, I am not a video game person.

Hopefully someone here knows a good cricket video game.

Best.

senthil_rajasekon Underarm bowling incident of 1981

There is more... The batter can swing, miss the ball completely and hit the wicket! Then it's a "hit wicket" and the batter is out.

You still with me ;-)

senthil_rajasekon Underarm Bowling Incident of 1981

In baseball, intentionally walking a batter to avoid a hit is considered "fair".

This incident was an intentional pitch (bowl) to a avoid a "home run" and in cricket it is sacrilege.

senthil_rajasekon Underarm bowling incident of 1981

Explaining Cricket to a Baseball fan only makes it worse.

I have tried it many times and failed.

Personally, playing a few games of cricket is the best way to learn the rules of the game.

As an example, in your explanation ( which is good to this lifelong cricket fan from India) your first sentence starts "A cricket pitch..." And when a baseball fan reads it he is probably asking "What is a cricket pitch?"

I live in the U.S.

road.cc seems to be a cycling news site primarily for U.K.

When I am driving a car or use a rideshare I expect to share the bike lane when turning or getting off.

I wish the title had included these additional words "In some situations..."

senthil_rajasekon Google is dead. Where do we go now?

By "here" I think you mean SA. Reddit is big in the U.S.

senthil_rajasekon Google is dead. Where do we go now?

I think the author intended the title to be,

"Google Ads is dead, Where do I promote my business now?"

When I hear "Google" I assume search, oof (sigh of relief).

They mention running ads on tiktok or instagram but no mention of youtube ads...

Also, In my own experience for my business ( also entertainment) I have found reddit ads to be useful.

So my next steps would be,

  Reddit Ads
  Youtube Ads
  Instagram Ads
  Increase AI Visiblity

[Edit: Added Instagram Ads, from a different comment]

senthil_rajasekon How geometry is fundamental for chess

The title is "How geometry is fundamental for chess." but 60% of this article is about how animals don't have a sense for numbers or bad at geometry.

Only a couple brief mentions about how chess piece moves are lines and transforms of lines. Other than that the author never establishes the title.

I was actually looking for some insight about chess and did not get any.

For certain concepts such as Linear Algebra, for instance books allow me to "do" and understand. Which is why I read more than I watch videos.
