seebetter··on Tim Cook Defends Parler App Suspension: ‘We Don’t Consider That Free Speech’
OnlyFans is a bigger threat to society than 10,000 Parlers.
seebetter··on Tim Cook Defends Parler App Suspension: ‘We Don’t Consider That Free Speech’
Not sure what this means but Tim must had not been on Twitter last year. There was a moment that went on for 4+ months of wild endless violence against federal agents.

We live in a conspiracy theory with neoliberal corporate racketeers proclaiming they’re saving us from the ill affects of their own corporate communication platforms for not the public but for woke leftists that vote for Democratic party establishment figures.

Not Bernie, that guy’s a socialist and a threat to my 401k.

seebetter··on Tim Cook Defends Parler App Suspension: ‘We Don’t Consider That Free Speech’
And I consider iMessages and the philosophical design limits of Apple as gross, creepy, anti-utilitarian and predatory.

iMessages should be open platform. Apple won’t exist in 20 years because even current technology implemented in a better system would displace all telecoms and all social media companies within 18 months.

Prediction: 2025 end of the Valley

Are you suggesting I have aided the pandemic? I have barely seen anyone. I am safe. I live in Beverly Hills where fascist authoritarians have destroyed our city.

So nice to see sycophantic unintelligent “hackers” promote blind authoritarianism. You have no concept of the words you so ambitiously spout.

seebetter··on Stealing Your Private YouTube Videos, One Frame at a Time
A person recently made a video which was captured on Internet Archive. I can’t play but a few screen shots pop up.

The video is kind of incriminating due to what the person was discussing and the fact that he deleted it.

I’m not denying the numbers but I was at Century City mall today. Lot of people relatively, lot of fun. Made 3 new friends today and went on a date.

Yes roughly 2-3x the people are dying everyday vs 5 months ago. That’s horrible obviously but I barely see anyone in a close setting.

But people are living despite it. My friend is dating 3 to 7 girls at once and they all know each other (and all hang out together).

Not saying that’s ideal but the pandemic isn’t affecting people like cable news suggest. Barely anyone talks about it but we all try to be careful.

seebetter··on Google suspending Parler from the Google Play store
Natural rights existed all governments all religions and all systems. Create a system that diminishes natural rights and by the Organic Law, it is our duty to alter or abolish such systems.
seebetter··on Google suspending Parler from the Google Play store
I’d post on my main HN account but I was shadowbanned last week.

I was blocked from sharing comments or posts in Facebook Groups for almost 2 months for sharing an article about Presidential clemency for Ross Ulbricht in the 2600 group.

From my perspective, the Organic Law of the United States has constitutional force. And any system including government agencies and public platforms, are beholden to the natural rights that preexisted all governments and all religions.

If you believe in John Locke, then defend principles. If you don’t, perhaps you should consider a country which wasn’t founded on natural rights as the lowest layer precept to our civilization. You can’t challenge first principles and replace them with relativism and a world full of neoliberal militaristic rackets.

seebetter··on Elderly patients 23% more likely to die if surgery is on the surgeon’s birthday
I’ve worked with a lot of surgeons and have heard/seen a lot of unbelievable things. Human beings are human. And often poorly educated in principles and ethics.
seebetter··on S&P Dow Jones Indices to launch cryptocurrency indexes in 2021
Yes but the inflation will come in 5-7 years. Just in time to liquidate the amount of debt the government owes.

Pretty clever trick but it’s only a random accident of the financialized systems that make modern life possible. It’s like how all the pandemic chaos only increased corporate profits and government power.

It’s just endless consistent accidents that never benefit 95% of people.

seebetter··on S&P Dow Jones Indices to launch cryptocurrency indexes in 2021
I agree and I took your advice. I believe in building things not trying to find some investment. I mined bitcoin and bought it at $1. And I looked at Ethereum prior to their ICO.

Start a business, build a product. If you have excess cash by all means invest in crypto assets and startups.

seebetter··on Apple Agrees to Pay $113M to Settle 'Batterygate' Case over iPhone Slowdowns
Using iOS feels like someone developed it without using it ever. The iPhone is the most obtuse and mindless device I’ve ever used. I daisy chain Rune Goldberg-style systems to do basic tasks involving a PDF or large file.

Save the PDF to iBooks, oh I can’t export it now let me try the print to PDF trick etc etc.

All this seems designed to encourage me to pay more for iCloud or other Apple products. Nothing makes sense, everything’s broken and people still love it.

seebetter··on Don't use third party auth to sign in
Also I reflexively clicked ok out of laziness and annoyance without knowing what it was. Not quite a dark pattern but you certainly aren’t completely aware what it’s asking within the first second of seeing it.
seebetter··on Parler 'free speech' app tops charts in wake of Trump defeat
Also because the corporate media in general and the left leaning companies, don’t really respect facts anymore. Entire networks ignore valid stories. And they subtly and aggressive distort and deflect, “There is no explicit evidence of overt corruption and to suggest otherwise is dangerous to our institutions.”

I’m a big defender of intelligence agencies but people like John Brennan are widely hated within the Intelligence Community. The political operatives masquerading as intelligence officials are leading CNN — which is disturbing.

Reality has been conflated. We’re all living in a conspiracy theory.

seebetter··on Biden wins White House, vowing new direction for divided U.S.
The division is manufactured by both political parties. It’s naive to think anything has changed.
seebetter··on Effects of Time-Restricted Eating on Weight Loss and Other Metabolic Parameters
This is certainly not true for me. Fasting 16 hours a day has changed my life. I eat relatively healthy but been eating a lot of sugar, full pizzas etc so I doubt I’m at a calorie deficit more than once a week.

As an aside, I had cancer and worked with surgeons professionally. And I am exceptionally skeptical and disappointed in the curiosity of doctors and surgeons. Some of my doctors would repeat word for word answers. My oncologist didn’t know basic questions.

seebetter··on Apple tells Telegram to take down protestor channels in Belarus
I just want to point out that we don’t have to put up with this endless creepy corporate invasion of our lives. Eventually Apple, Google and these other behemoths will be disrupted and displaced by technology.

The curve favors the individual not the corporation or the state.

seebetter··on The Coinbase post was 100% right. Here's what you can do about it
We should fight for and stand on principles. The problem today is we're having two sides of relativists fight where neither side even believes in the concept of principles.
seebetter··on United States vs. Dread Pirate Roberts (Silk Road) FBI Report (2013) [pdf]
And the victim Curtis Green said that maybe Carl Mark Force made up the evidence against Ross. Plus Force actually endangered Green’s life by doxing him as an informant to drug dealers.

Not to mention the Baltimore Task Force threatened to punish Green for stealing bitcoin from some admin access when it was in fact the corrupt federal agents who did it.

seebetter··on Trump offered to pardon Assange if he provided source for DNC emails – lawyer
https://krebsonsecurity.com/2017/01/the-download-on-the-dnc-...

He won't elaborate on the DNC hack because he says he has no original reporting. Does that mean no one on the forums or in the subculture talks about it?

He said:

"Based on what I’ve learned over the past decade studying Russian language, culture and hacking communities, my sense is that if the Russians were responsible and wanted to hide that fact — they’d have left a trail leading back to some other country’s door."

And note, the founders of phishing in the early 90s were mostly teenage kids, maybe 14-16. It doesn't take a state actor to 'spear phish'.

And in reality, we’re really more alike than we realize. It’s just the political parties and media have financalized everything.

American politics is more just crony wealth transfers to vying corporate factions. We’re all victims to an undefined enemy but we’re fighting ourselves.
