They are using the same AI to generate the proofs.
Lets indeed treat non-deterministic output exactly like we treat deterministic output.
... that sounds horrible
How did you get that from the linked videos?
- Instagram (finally opened in the last two years)
- Youtube
Perhaps I'm not getting your point, but... most of the major social platforms in the US are still open, except for Twitter.
I've literally got the email right here: "As I mentioned on the phone, we structure them as a monthly subscription based on an annual agreement. Variables that affect pricing are the APIs you use to get data and the amount of data you consume each month. Our smallest packages fall between $5,000-$8,000 per month."
The price they quoted me, over the phone, was 6k. Doesn't mean we took it (we didn't) but that was what they were asking for. I know others that were paying 5k/mo.
And I know others who still had free accounts from way back in the day. Everyone is being swept up now.
I would not be surprised if he could have offered the api $420/mo and 100x more apps were willing and/or able to pay.
This argument made sense a month ago. Unfortunately he really hasn't shown any improvement since then that would lead me to agree with you on that point.
It's now a situation where he has to either find enough new people who agree with whatever his approach is or /win people back/ - both of those are quite a bit harder than keeping people who already loved the app.
I also hope he - or someone - is able to recover Twitter. But I'm not betting on it at this point.
Yelp expressly forbids this, and without Yelp, you don't have a product. That said, I think it's stupid that Yelp disallows this and hope that OP succeeds.
I had (part-time contract) work within 15 minutes of leaving the layoff meeting. It pays to network before you need it.
Before my extra 3 months ended, I reached out to the individual investors in the company and asked if they knew if any of their portfolio companies had any work. I ended up taking a contract in February (there were 2 months where I did odd gigs, but was essentially out of work and living off savings - again it pays to plan ahead) that paid way better than I was making before and positionally a better spot. (titles matter too, though less than the work at hand - depending on what you want to be doing)
