The issue here is that we will discuss this in advance, I will say Yes we have this feature and then afterwards he will tell me that he told the prospect that we don't, because he couldn't see it in the code.

The problem I have with this is that we have quite a technical product, and are selling it to other developers. If they could build this themselves, then they wouldn't be buying it off us, so I don't want them poking around our code in a sales meeting!
