No, I just want to see who says they are a hard R or D and really vote middle of the road. Perhaps the site could let me vote too to see where and or who I agree with best.
You have to remember we are talking about wifi here. You are correct in a wired network but the last hop can be thought of as a hub. All of the packets will be routed to the AP and the AP will broadcast them to all devices it's the NICs job to accept or reject the packtes and even if the MACs match as the packet moves up the OSI model they will be dropped by the legit NIC and yours will move the packets up. Now on a wired network you are correct lots of packet loss depending on L1 switches vs L3 switches, routers, etc.
How does BitLocker help? It seems like it would just add overhead to your VMs... It also seems like PCoIP would be better then RDP. A firewall is going to do nothing unless it block out-bound traffic.
1) Microsoft mandates that PC vendors allow users to disable Secure Boot. In the last rev it's up to the hardware manufacture. Do research before you buy.
2)root is not allowed to be illegal.
3)I've never had this issue but I don't play by the rules.
4)This is two issues a)it will not be less secure it would be the same as having a second key for your front door, or creating a second private key. Just because you have two keys does not mean it's less secure the proof is in the proof (it's math problem). b)government spying/big brother/what have you... I don't know anyone who would like this.
Sell it. Get ahold of esri or partnersoft both have iOS apps yet lack Mac support unless you run a VM. It maybe a harder sell as most of the industries that use GIS data (power, telco, gov) use windows. Your are in a premo spot though because Partner and esri are both pushing iOS for outside guys/field workers quite a bit right now even if it's only a bullet point for them it could be a nice pay out for you.
