samjanison Legendary C64 composer Ben Daglish has died

A true genius in music. Able to produce multitrack audio from only 3 waveform generators.

R.I.P. Ben Daglish

samjanison Show HN: Simplified music notation

Nice.

It's like guitar tabs, but for piano.

Keep working on it!

samjanison Ask HN: What fun/useful things do you do when tired, instead of Netflix/Reddit?

Yu-Gi-Oh is more than a card game. It's fun and the way card effects can be chained together is a lot like programming in the corewars/redcode sort of way.

Others prefer to play Magic:The Gathering but after playing both we always end up going back to ygo.

samjanison Ask HN: Fileshare without dropbox etc.

Have you tried https://www.mirrorisland.com ?

It was made for a similar purpose when sharing files and photos from a mobile phone to multiple computers.

It doesn't need any installation and it's just a basic webpage with fast sign up and sign in.
