It may not be fair, but it happens. Knowing how to make good decisions counts a lot regardless if you are at the top on on the way up.
In in the end, the customers decide what they feel is best.
I'll be honest, I wont miss Twitter if it dies out, as I'm not a user. The thing I hate is how Twitter killed RSS for many browsers and users. So if Twitter dies, so be it for causing that to happen.
Last.fm had a huge library of music, about 100 times more variety than Pandora has. I discovered tons and tons of bands, that are obscure in other countries.
This is a huge blow to my listening experience and I'm sure will hurt a lot of obscure bands from being discovered.
I don't know how many other jobs I can get with a certificate that will pay decent. I already have a bachelors in CS, and don't want to go to college again (its several more times more expensive than when I went). All my skills are computer related and I do not plan to go back into tech support ever again. Management isn't me and neither is sales. Guess I'm not sure what I'll end up doing.
Everyone here seems to be rockstars or A-list devs, but I like reading the comments here since it keeps me up to date and I learn a lot.
I don't see anything wrong with it, its just setting defaults, not exactly ads, most browser companies get paid some money for adding in default bookmarks
Unfortunately I didn't bookmark it and am not able to find it on Google either :(
I switched to netvibes for now, but I don't like how netvibes wont pick up youtube embedded videos.
The article would have to show us how to install Python, configure it, get it working on the server, what to upload, how to deal with forms, cookies, etc. I've yet to see this kind of article. I wouldn't mind learning Python for web use, but every book I've seen suggests you just use a framework or has a very small chapter composing of a few pages. Such an article or even a book, would get more people off PHP, if that's what people want. Until then PHP gets stuff done and that's all clients care about, no one cares if I use Windows, Linux or Mac OS X when I work. Granted I'm not a l33t programmer like most on here, I'm just here to learn from better coders.
