ryuzyy··on Show HN: Noite – Enjoy Most of Cloudflare Worker APIs on Your Potato VPS
Hey, I just launched a preview of my cell-based, self-hosted PaaS. Fits a $5 2vCPU 2 GB RAM potato VPS.

- It uses celld to host Cloudflare Worker-ish apps.

- Multi-tenant control plane for teamwork.

- Diagnostics for requests and errors.

- Event ingestion API.

- Sentry-ish error reporting.

- Host non-worker apps that are fetch-able.

It should stay simple. Of course, there are various tools for various problems. If things start getting complex, you can use the underlying RPC to better organize the logic: https://oxide.build/tacho/quickstart/.

Hey all, I had a bit too much fun with Celld, so I decided it'd be great to have a small backend that works well with it without limiting its capabilities.

TLDR: The backend framework as a Vite and Rsbuild plugin. You import server functions on the client side, and they are executed on the server side with full type safety. It's powered by my own tiny JSON RPC 2.0 server implementation (under 2 KB minzipped btw).

ryuzyy··on Show HN: XSAF – Extra Small Agent Framework
Hey all, I'm the author of XSAF. I'm working on open-source tools, and this time it's a small TypeScript agent framework.

You might be wondering why you'd bother with this when there are already options like Vercel's EVE and Astro's Flue.

I always build tools that are minimal and hackable, not a concrete way of doing things.

This time it's a Fetch-native (MCP v2), tiny agent that supports communication channels, sandboxing, scheduling, memory, and external MCPs.

There are no UI components, but you can use Tailwind and any CSS UI kit you like, I personally mostly use https://basecoatui.com/ with Ilha.

I'm a simple dev, not a storyteller, you can always tell me how would you improve it :)
