Happy to get constructive feedback to improve the UI!

You can visit demo instances to toy around with here: https://flink.is https://flink.rtrace.io

Flink is a FLOSS URL shortener, that creates QR Codes and embeddable link previews. It's easy to selfhost and production ready in less than 5 minutes. Thanks to OpenAPI and OpenTelemetry flink is extensible, hackable and easy to build on.

With the recent news of Bitly some of you guys might be looking for a new URL shortener.

Well. PulseAudio is a plain sound server. It does not handle video at all.

Wrote this blog article as I needed to get a better understanding of the audio stack on Linux (esp. PipeWire, PulseAudio, ALSA, etc. ...). The article turned out to be a lenghty in-depth explanation of how audio works, how digital audio works, and what sound servers on linux actually do. Tried to write it in a way so it is accessible and understandable for beginners but also enlightening for experienced users. Hope it's helpful to HN

You can embed an emojiwall to your website as a nice gimmick, or just use it to make your community engage more with you while live-streaming. It can be used with Owncast, but is open/extensible enough so it could also be used for Twitch/YouTube Live stream (with minor effort). If you want a short demo and simple setup-guide, follow: https://smol.stream/emojiwall

Owncast is a free and open source live video and web chat server for use with existing popular broadcasting software.

Wow. To summarize: Listening to Taylor Swift (in a NPR) can lead to the destruction of humanity!
