rtcoms··on The newest ESP32 can run Linux and it's getting close to a Raspberry Pi
Interesting. I want to start on similar project for health tracking. i.e Let ESP32 device with camera look at whole data what we are eating, walk and exercise and provide feedback.

Do you have any pointer for starting on this ? Something with eink screern and browser rendering would be very good combo. I looked at M5Stack paper s3, but it doesn't cave camera.

rtcoms··on Ask HN: Why were OpenAI, Claude, and Grok simultaneously down?

rtcoms··on Ex-GitHub CEO launches a new developer platform for AI agents
With openclaw we won't need to make event those apps.
rtcoms··on Eight more months of agents
For m, I'm demotivated to work on many ideas thinking that anyone can easily copy it or OpenClaw/Nanobot will easily replicate 90% of that unctionality.

So now need to think of different kind of ideas, something on line of games that may take multiple iteration to get perfected.

rtcoms··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (February 2026)
CraftMyGame can make something like retro street fighter(not need to be perfect) ? If it can, and allow me to export the code(I would like to add those game to some of the apps I'm planning), you'll get paying customer.
rtcoms··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (February 2026)

Can you recommend any cause to make using Claude Code.

rtcoms··on Amazon Prime AI overviews can't even get the basics right

rtcoms··on Ask HN: What do you wish existed? (October 2025)
True wireless earbuds with case also having bluetooth speaker, mic and clip to attach it on T-shirt.

Foldable E-ink tablet that can also be used as monitor.

rtcoms··on iOS 26 Liquid Glass is awful in many ways
I have different take on this, with AI coming into mobile interface, the context about what is present on the screen becomes important, user will like to know what is present on the screen and verify answers from AI frequently.

Liquid glass UI with transparency may allow user to keep that context without completely putting AI user interface aside.

rtcoms··on I want an iPhone Mini-sized Android phone (2022)

rtcoms··on Jazz – Apps with Distributed State
Can I make end-to-end encrypted application using it?

Currently making apps using convex.dev, how would you describe differnce between Jazz and Convex ?

Convex have their own db, would Jazz work with any database ?

rtcoms··on Show HN: Selectable – mobile-friendly Postgres client
People can mirror mobile screen to TV/Monitor and still use it.

With the tri-fold mobiles and Samsung Dex like feature coming, that day may not be far when mobile become the single work machine.

rtcoms··on Show HN: DBOS transact – Ultra-lightweight durable execution in Python
Recently I came to know about https://www.membrane.io/, which also follows similar approach, but it looks like that is more for internal apps and small projects.

How would you compare DBOS with that ?

rtcoms··on Show HN: DBOS transact – Ultra-lightweight durable execution in Python
Would I be able to use all the python and npm packages with it. Would something opening a headless browser to scrap data work with DBOS ?

Recently DHH posted on twitter that Kama v2 will have support for multiple apps on a server.

Convex - Provide backend db, background jobs, serverless functions

Trying to setup the simplest MVP framework for my sideprojects
