As with any new & emerging technology, blockchain ecosystem hosts various (intentional or unintentional) FUD and malicious coins that are backed by nothing and often run in a ponzi scheme manner. These coins will eventually crash and disappear.
Bitcoin's intrinsic values are similar to other asset classes, plus, its also decentralized and censorship resistant.
Here are some views that we're using for our little startup:

All in all, I held up pretty well, but I don't think I would be able to power through another lockdown. I'm from Belgrade, Serbia and looking to fly somewhere warm and remote for the fall and winter (Thailand/Bali/Mexico) where I'd have more freedom than being locked down in an apartment.
It doesn't matter how I chose 10 seconds as a periodic task interval, problem was that to a simple question about feature support I got dismissive/borderline rude answer which made me lose confidence in Huey as a project and it's long-term maintainability. And it's not like I asked for something exotic, but a support for subminute periodic tasks which almost every other task queue has.
That issue doesn't seem to be anywhere in Github, so it's deleted: https://github.com/coleifer/huey/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%...
As you said, it's a free software and you can do whatever you want with it, but to me this is a huge red flag and I'm happy to not be part of it. ;)
After opening GitHub issue about it and asking if there were plans to implement sub-minute intervals, library's author (coleifer on github) had dismissive/arrogant attitude, and his reply was something along the lines of "too bad you cannot fork it and do it by yourself" and deleted my thread.
This threw me off from using this library, and I went back to Celery.
The only additional customization I have is a little utility I wrote in C++ that runs in background and provides hotkeys to launch Chrome, Sublime Text, Total Commander and Cmder via Win+1, Win+2, etc hotkeys.
And to run any other program, it is enough to hit Win key and start typing that programs name.
Timezone difference (+13h) can be PITA.
Last summer I was in Europe and I've been working 10-12h per day in August (my peak month so far). June-November approx 4-6 hours a day.
Now I'm in Koh Phangan, Thailand and work few hours a month, but fully focusing on healthy lifestyle and training/meditation.
In April I go back to Europe and plan is to grind hard for the next few years. I work in bursts. My routine when I work full-time is having breakfast at my place or a coffee shop and working from there in the morning, hitting the gym around noon, then more work at home/another coffee shop, and unwind during the evening.
There are exceptions to this, if I don't feel productive in the afternoons, I postpone work for evening. I again tend to feel the "flow" of my mental productivity and organize around that. Never had any strict rules and it's been working pretty fine so far.
It was good money and just what I needed right then. I used that money and time to travel and live digital nomad lifestyle, which directly impacted and transformed my professional career in a great way. So, that part, I don't regret. But I regret wasting 2 years of my professional development time down the drain on a product without vision. I learned a lot about handling people and about the lifecycle of a bad product tho.
So I have to make a homebase to fix this. But the problem is that I feel like I would be making a mistake whichever place I choose.
At one side I like Europe more because it's better aligned to my personality, interests and also the standard of living is higher. I would settle down somewhere in south of France, Italy, or Spain, and then travel maybe few months per year max. I want to start a family and figured out Asia is not the right place for me to do this.
At the other side there's SEA and all the spicyness it brings. I go back to Europe every summer and spend winters in Asia, and I have good friends in SEA which I miss, but I feel like I am delaying the "real life" whenever I go there.
It's a good question to which I don't have a good answer to. I am going through a bit of existential crisis right now due to this.
