i like the design - i don't think the animation adds much though. For all the stuff that's going on in the world and how the other aggregators behave, i think that just 5-6 stories showing up is not enough when I click sometimes.
Your categories are a little weak "Lin" shows up in news of the World, Apple shows up in National.
Keep tweaking - there is definitely room for a better news aggregator and being able to easily switch to other national editions is great!
how many people do you know? have you asked everyone you do know? i know all of these people. After 9/11 a friend and I were taking texture pictures of rusted steel on a public road near an oil refinery - its 3 blocks off a major metro interstate and they offered to put us in prison.
That's debate in the US - everyone just says 'what is good for me'. The point of the article is that in Norway, the evaluation of 'what is good for us' works for them suprisingly well and doesn't stop people from starting businesses.
Japan seems like a different place. Its a country that loves systems of harmony so much that the police are only now trying to break away from their collaboration with the gangs, and sometimes failing. Established newspapers have a system of collaboration with news sources (like government officials) that they are tasked report upon. Among all these harmony systems is the seniority = age system. Even corporate finance loans are often based on social connections rather than creditworthiness.
Its not hard for me to see why people would question Horie's arrest as a system turned against the young in that context.
I sadly have to agree with jd. Another way of seeing the article is that americans no longer contribute enough skills effort, value to the new economy to justify their lifestyle and that they should leverage taxes on the wealthy to compensate for that. I'm not rich, but I can see why this is not a winning proposition long term.
You might also be experiencing the onset of chronic fatigue from stress. its not always medically recognized. If not treated soon, it could become a more permanent condition. if you lose your health you really aren't going to do so well for the company any way. I don't know if you should stay on, but taking care of your health has got to be a top priority.
