Thank you for the response!

romymisraon Ask HN: How do you recognize good work and celebrate wins at your company?

Thank you! Interesting to see at 1500 no structured feedback process.

romymisraon What are the odds that you exist?

Great way to show such large numbers using a visualization. The problem with large numbers is that it's usually hard to relate to them at all - which this graphic overcomes to a large degree.

romymisraon Ask HN: An inexpensive way to stay in the Bay Area for a week or two?

Try airbnb.com if you haven't already :).

romymisraon My humble tribute to Zed Shaw : The first 50 Python scripts later

I'm a beginner in programming. I think there are lot less resources in programming for beginners. Zed Shaw's Python tutorial is amazing. I will highly recommend it for anyone who starts programming regardless of Python. What are the best resources you have come across?

romymisraon Ask HN: Which domain registration site would you recommend?

Not Godaddy.com. They always try to upsell other services and they have terrible customer service.

My recommendation would be www.brandstack.com. It's awesome and they make the process so simple (as it should be).

romymisraon [dead]

The concept and intent is good.

I found the Video playing on the "Who we are" section to be a little annoying. I wouldn't put any videos with loud music on automatic Play mode.

I still think the process needs more explaining (I conceded I didn't look at all the videos). How much does an artist have to pay (if he does)? These things need to be ironed out clearly. Also I wasn't clear on all counts of the value it brings. I would have maybe a checklist of the advantages (essentially communicate better on what each party gets out of the deal).

Good luck!

romymisraon A Comprehensive, Intro to SEO Powerpoint Slide Deck

Great guide! Indeed very comprehensive.

However I don't think it's for beginners and people just starting with SEO. Too much information is sometimes overwhelming :)

romymisraon Are night owls generally more intelligent than other people?

I am not too sure this has a lot of weight:

When I was in college there are far more might owls than early morning risers. Out of a 100 people 80 are probably night owls (some of them might just end up partying the whole time). So there is an inherent bias there, because there are more nightowls than 'early morning risers'. Which leads to the conclusion in a sample of 100 if 10 of them are intelligent: then obviously 8 are night owls. I would personally never judge a person's intelligence on this factor (even though I am a night owl myelf).

romymisraon Ask HN: do you use a SERP ranking service ? Which one ?

There are a bunch out there. If you would like one to view SERP's instantly I find Rank checker (the SEO book firefox plugin) handy. If you would like the keyword service to monitor the progress over time the best oout there Authority Labs (It has some of the best export and filter features available). SEOMoz also has a handy keyword tool: Keyword Tracker.

However, there are two things to keep in mind when using a SERP service: 1. Don't obsess over the position or rank of a keyword every week. Keep in mind that search engine rankings fluctuate often and the natural variation of a metric within control limits always takes place. At the same time, you should know when the keywords is losing rank consistently or when it has gained rank significantly due to your efforts.

2. Always ties in gains and losses shown by the keyword tool with your Analytics. Asking questions like I have improved my rank from 30 to 3 over this keyword, has it brought me improved traffic and most importantly has the traffic converted. This will help you distill out keywords over time to help you focus your efforts.
