Early game strategies can vary and some can be quite fun (healer/pacifist run) but in my experience the "sameness" sets in once your strategy becomes "step 1: get wand of wishing".
Of course you don't HAVE to use that wand. But it's there.
I got really excited at first, wondering if this all took place inside Excel. Realizing now that's not quite what is going on here but probably aiming for a similar experience.
Juno brings back lots of memories for me as well. I remember having a very hard time convincing everyone it was 'free'.
Anyways, I'm sure my wife will ha^H^H love you for giving me another "fun" home project. :)
Wow. I actually did 'forget' this. Actually I don't think I ever heard of it. I see lots of articles about The Guardian being under pressure, but haven't found one confirming they actually "smashed" them. I haven't been looking that long, so would welcome any pointers.
Anyways, I do appreciate the response.
Guilt is sort of the word for it, but not quite.
I think the simple fact of recognizing privilege when you have it, is a start. Being aware of history is the next step. The final step is not just wanting to help, but actually helping.
I think a lot of people in this author's situation find that last step difficult. The truth is that if you look hard enough, you _will_ find people in the community that care and are trying to do things. They can point you in the direction you want to go.
Started getting some attention in the roguelike world but it's really not a traditional roguelike... just an awesome Dungeon Keeper-esque game.
I hope Dropbox keeps their word on incorporating the carousel functionality into the main app. I don't particularly care what they want to call it.
I have a feeling nowadays most people would prefer being called the former over the later!
Either way, looks great so far. CoffeeScript is still my fave.
Mostly free, but if you subscribe you will get lots more (great) mostly long-form articles, and in cases where the article would normally be behind a paywall, they will do a special version for thebrowser's paying customers.
