And why more government involvement in sectors would be a good thing?
I understand the benefits of central planning, but when I see it fail locally, I wonder if the flaws outweigh benefits.

> Sharding has a unstoppable risk of a 51% attack.
>So does bitcoin?
Bitcoin cost of 51 percent attack is ~400k for 1 hour. ETH is 90k for 1 hour.
Oh, subscription service.
Not GPS signal.
I'm completely right.
POS is not decentralized
Sharding has a unstoppable risk of a 51% attack.
Ethereum has failed.
Its also on a bunch of lists because I signed a petition.
Your radio has 0 control over an Engine. Or at least, shouldn't.

Everyone knew if you left a village, everyone knew where you went.
There seems to be a short time, where human population has exploded beyond any ability to track everyones location. But then we got a really useful GPS and wifi system.
I don't mind if people know I'm on a freeway, I do mind if laws are bad.
I've paid friends in Bitcoin and they have paid me.
I also got a Shift card, which is super cool.
My only reluctance with Bitcoin, is getting a mortgage in BTC. What happens if BTC hits 100k USD/coin?
This isn't true, and the opposite is quite true.
Bitcoin is the only coin that seems immune from a 51% attack. Every other coin has a significantly lower threshold needed for people to commit a 51% attack.
Ethereum and other Blockchain coins are not 'superior', they use the same POW solution as Bitcoin. Often, another coin will discover a new way to make blockchain better, and Bitcoin adopts it later. When Etheruem failed to scale, I sold all of my POW alt coins.
The rest of the coins are centralized, which defeats the purpose of blockchain. Entirely useless as cryptocurrency.
I see a future for Bitcoin and Stable coins. I don't see alt coins doing anything Bitcoin cant.
As a developer, I feel its my part to let non-devs know that Apple is evil to developers and customers.
It takes time for this message to spread, but I imagine in a decade, Apple will no longer be competitive in the Mobile/Computer markets.
You can only oversell a product for so-long, before people begin to notice.
Why?
I live a modern life and I don't use Facebook or Apple.
There is plenty of competition, let these anti-consumer companies feel the pain of Markets. Or we will find out, people don't actually care about this.
I don't want the government to get involved in Apple, and ruin companies that I do use (Google, Snapchat, etc..)
There is no reason for me to use Apple products(Except when I need to hit Compile on my Javascript apps)
There is plenty of competition, its that Apple users want the government to fix Apple for them. Its easy, stop buying products that are anti-consumer.
Underrated, never felt cheated out of a lyft or uber. I've even tipped.
Hahaha Right now they are 1/4 of taxi prices. Or at least last time I rode a taxi.
Why punish google?
You used google while signed in and now the world knows you like barbies?
Serious question, because I do not feel violated.
Benefits are not worth 2-3x the pay. I find myself being a contractor due to the better pay.
Where they get comfy, rationalize that they know their job, and the company never has to spend more than 98k on this person for the next 35 years.
Weirdly enough, it seems like Fortune 500 pays best for the brightest and they have them working on high level concepts and paying suppliers to perform the nitty gritty engineering.
I don't quite understand the rationale behind this hiring phenomenon.
Real Estate is not passive income.
While fans brush it off as 'marketing', they would not give Google such a pass.
And... lets not forget, the FBI did break into their device. They don't win the privacy game when their device failed to be secure.
Working in retail making 7.85$/hr, we had plenty of crazy people.
There is something noble about being a librarian, and this article discusses that phenomenon.
There was nothing noble about serving enraged customers, customers that stole, or creepy customers.
I have money, lets talk about what can be done to solve it.
No one gives a care that socialism fails, the problems still exists, and as a result, people will keep trying to solve problems.
Have 80% of it get sucked up by the bureaucracy? And the other 20% is used on surface issues.
>social welfare is not an altruistic indulgence
Both sides want to help people, the great question is, what is the best way?
Should we spend 1B on bandaids? Or should we start earlier in life, giving people opportunities that keep them off the streets?
Ask a question for (server) Javascript- 99% of people aren't going to try because the code is too unruly to deal with. Its simply faster to google and debug.
Ask a question in python- python code is simple enough to copy paste into SO. And given python has hordes of newbies, they don't realize google is probably a better place to look.
This synergy of situation is why Javascript is getting less questions.
EDIT: I program in both, I don't see why this is invalid.
Not meeting specifications.
These did not meet specs. At least customer expectations.
This is engineering, having something fail is not acceptable.
EDIT: Specs are everything. Not just HP. Specs are how many USB ports the vehicle has. The colors of buttons. The comfort.
Also, I wasnt sure if you thought a BMW was actually better. They are lower rated, but BMW has a huge marketing presence in the US.
My OG pixel is a clear upgrade.
