That's cool! I recently had GPT-4 write me a HAMT in C++, and it somewhat works, a lot of the basics are there. I ran out of time but am planning on fixing it up with instruct. It missed a lot of stuff and its tests run but they aren't very good.
Don't forget wattage requirements. Compute per watt is by far the most important factor. I would be curious if resoldering many phone CPU chips to make some sort of computer is power competitive with relatively modern cPUs.
The loops is also quite large right now. Put a lot in, get a lot out, put a little in, get a lot out. I suppose there is some work from OpenAI to have a well formed response in a certain number of tokens or something, I am not sure how the "document size" part of their chat completion works.
As with MacOS, I find kde5/plasma5 quite habitable. I try to be my own devil's advocate about my opinions and wants, and how much those matter to moving the needle on my big goals.
I have been plain text journalling in vim for 18 months. I use a single file. Each day, at the bottom of the file, I put the date, then content. I use this system at work.
I do actually use the same concept of putting `TODO` `WIP` or `DONE` at the beginning of each task line, and I am usually using a task list with subheadings on any given day.
Does it matter if it is growing or shrinking? The users are getting usage, and the maintainers are providing a service. Is there a profit motive being unfulfilled?
It is also related to the judge's quest to name all things. The relationship is measurement, a fundamentally human activity... or perhaps fundamental to the way our civilization is doing human.
Is it recommended to run my own proxy then, and is there any boilerplate project out there? I could also use OpenVPN, but seems like I just want to proxy ipfs, not my whole connection.
It seems like there is some sort of "viral singularity" that is quite likely. Still a "paperclip maximizer" where paperclip is something unexpected. In a sense life, and humanity, are types of paperclip maximizers.
It's all about tradeoffs. Sometime soon you should plan really far then take those requirements back to hit whatever soft deadlines (although there are few or no hard deadlines, so don't sweat it).
I collected all my meetings into "meeting thursday". A dump day - typically from 9-2, sometimes 9-5. Sometimes I cancel or reschedule everything if another "dump cluster" forms.
