relug··on Ask HN: What default model do you use and why?
i use opus5 and when i run out of usage i swap api to deepseek flash 4.1, deepseek better than opus now i think
relug··on Ask HN: What are you working on?
why do you need special language to understand algorithms like a softmax dag or whatever algorithm u can explain in any language that already exists
relug··on Tell HN: OpenAI keeps stealing my money
if u not manually approving responses ur ngm
relug··on Ask HN: Is there a test for measuring cognitive affects from LLM usage?
just one more refactor pass and i will stop i swear
relug··on Tell HN: Check your Claude settings, it may have silently enabled remote access
anything to train on juicy dev chats hehe
relug··on Ask HN: Why isn't there a cursor for video games development
video games is just code so you use code ai agent? huh?
relug··on The Shape and Feel of the Post-AI Data Stack
this is my spicy take...due to laws if entropy agents will always chose to write code to hit api stacks instead of hitting them directly.
relug··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (August 2026)
thats super cool! are you using htmx as your web framework? i recently started uSiNgg HtmX
relug··on For an app claiming end-to-end encryption, what evidence would earn your trust?
and maybe some sort of physical way to share keys via qr or something with clear transparent state visualization. the more you abstract away the cryptography math the less safe it feels with more vectors of attack so it has to be also educational like "this is how proper cryptography works and here is proof we are doing everything by the books" but in friendly ux manner thats easy for children to grasp intuitively
relug··on For an app claiming end-to-end encryption, what evidence would earn your trust?
"decrypt" button
relug··on Iran threatens to hit Gulf states if US launches new strikes
interesting why usa wants to keep escalating, muat be some strat behind it maybe to induce strategical global recession or try and slow down china or something else
relug··on "Clean" Code, Horrible Performance (2023)
its a bigger problem of class based abstractions...cpu thinks in terms of arrays and lanes and indexes thats literally what a pointer is...when you try and abstract that away it in the wrong way that compiler cant understand, it creates overhead. but i think this is overall for all patterns in programming classrs are just so low level people take it for dogma and are appalled that something so standard is anti pattern
relug··on U.S. used 'virtually all' of its long-range precision missiles during Iran war
its good to drain pool and refill with fresh water every now and again
relug··on Chinese military researchers tap US AI models to train defense systems
no the newwest deepseek flash model is better than opus5 (or i cant tell difference anymore)
relug··on You might want to build your WebApp in Canvas instead of HTML
>or by cleverly adding and removing elements from the DOM as the user zooms and pans. But at that point, you might be better off owning the rendering altogether.

brother it sounds like you may have gaslighted yourself into this lolz. you simply absolutely position components and then use matrix transform on container if you need custom zoom and pan. if you need to clip you add a clipping algorithm which is basic math. you can add LOD too and use basic tailwind for this and vibecode 90% of it in like 2 days. how long did this take you lol?

relug··on Chinese military researchers tap US AI models to train defense systems
cant they just use open source deepseek if it already benches better than open ai lol i dont get
relug··on Scriptc by Vercel: TypeScript-to-Native compiler, no JavaScript engine in binary
finally someone did this
relug··on Claude Code uses Bun written in Rust now
you only malloc only once at boot in that pattern, its not about performance at that point. after that you need a strict api and patterns to control and process the data that is where the performance matters...but its niche just like you couldn't want to code a ui from scratch in rust when u could just do a web ui w/ typescript, react tailwind or whatever
relug··on Claude Code uses Bun written in Rust now
the buffer managemnt is just different pattern and style of code thats more low level. when you care about performance and cpu cache, you have to make sure that actual physical memory gets computed at same time as other memory near it so there is less latency.
relug··on Show HN: LifePath – See what Einstein was doing at your exact age
>Lives you can stand next to, today >Hitler
relug··on Show HN: Ant – A JavaScript runtime and ecosystem
if this is trying to competing with v8/llvm thats compiler stuff u gotta be benching and comparing assembly not "hono boot" lol
relug··on Looking for an IT job, but nobody cares about your resume? Try this app
turns out the sessions are were all bound to 127.0.0.1, sorry about that fixed now though.

hey james thanks for using it haha, its not very stable right now and i think there are a few bugs i'll probably fix some of it tonight and let you know! and i think there is also a profile bug because i just opened it and my resume and account was changed to John Doe
