+1 for jQuery. To me, it's one of the best thing that happens to me in my developing career. A lot more miles with a lot less fuel.
One thing I may suggest tho is that if you have a page that gets hit with a lot of traffic, you might consider out sourcing you jJavaScript.Query file or just use plain

I think it depends on their exits. My thinking is if the startups have good exits, then they probably should be pretty happy with the experience. Can pg share a little stats on YC startups exits?
I've noticed a trend tho. The dropouts that became successful were dropouts from Ivy League schools. Does that mean people from second tire schools should stay in school and finish their degree?
Thanks for this experiment project Paul. I think Hacker News naturally attracts the right people which creates a very good vibe. Most if not all of the comments I read here are constructive and helpful at times. This is unlike any other sites out there.
Thank you for sharing such a detailed insight. This is very helpful because hearing it from a team that didn't get in can aid the applicants to look at aspects they might have missed.
