r33b33··on Adobe deletes Bluesky posts after backlash
That's why you always use throwaway cards for this.
r33b33··on China and US rapidly developing quantum computers, yet Bitcoin is still $90k
Bitcoin finally falling, because normies realized quantum technologies will crack it. Nice. It's only downhill from here. But gold and real estate in geopolitically safe areas.
r33b33··on China and US rapidly developing quantum computers, yet Bitcoin is still $90k
What if I use AI for my investment strategy?
r33b33··on China and US rapidly developing quantum computers, yet Bitcoin is still $90k
Yes, they will in a few years. Extrapolating AI accelerating developments that will help them achieve this. Either US or China, but it will happen.
r33b33··on China and US rapidly developing quantum computers, yet Bitcoin is still $90k
Yes, they will crack encryption soon.
r33b33··on Elephant in the room: Quantum computers will destroy Bitcoin
China just announced even more powerful Quantum Computer. Why BTC isn't 10k yet is beyond me. Markets must be retarded.
r33b33··on Elephant in the room: Quantum computers will destroy Bitcoin
It's pricing it in now, with 2 week lag.
r33b33··on Elephant in the room: Quantum computers will destroy Bitcoin
> Spelunking for Bitcoin by generating all possible keys and checking their account balances is not prevented by PQ algorithms.

And how will you solve this?

r33b33··on Elephant in the room: Quantum computers will destroy Bitcoin
> There is a pending hard fork to PQ Post Quantum algorithms for all classical blockchains.

Where is this pending HF for BTC?

How can all of this work realistically without constant cat & mouse catch up game?

> Spelunking for Bitcoin by generating all possible keys and checking their account balances is not prevented by PQ algorithms.

So there will be no protection against this? There is no protection possible?

r33b33··on Elephant in the room: Quantum computers will destroy Bitcoin
What "other methods"?
r33b33··on Elephant in the room: Quantum computers will destroy Bitcoin
Please educate me how that is the case.

It could derive private key from public key.

r33b33··on Microsoft unveils Majorana 1 quantum processor
Chat, is this true?
r33b33··on Microsoft unveils Majorana 1 quantum processor
Can someone fact check this?
r33b33··on Microsoft unveils Majorana 1 quantum processor
By "face to face" I mean going to bank on your own two legs physically and talking with the teller.

Centralized businesses will not suffer much and will switch. Blockchains will get destroyed due to their immutable nature.

r33b33··on Microsoft unveils Majorana 1 quantum processor
It's an on issue, since bank can always switch to face-in-face verification. This is not an argument. Crypto is the problem here.
r33b33··on Microsoft unveils Majorana 1 quantum processor
Would it be smartest for one to sell crypto right now while normies are still oblivious of what's about to happen?
r33b33··on Microsoft unveils Majorana 1 quantum processor
Why isn't crypto crashing?
r33b33··on Microsoft unveils Majorana 1 quantum processor
So how to prepare, when?
r33b33··on Microsoft unveils Majorana 1 quantum processor
Please someone give input on this. It's extremely important and worrying.
r33b33··on Microsoft unveils Majorana 1 quantum processor
So when does this break crypto and Bitcoin and how to best prepare for this?

Is there any way to secure at all?

r33b33··on Firing programmers for AI is a mistake
Real talk.

We are a small theme of people running an online game app.

We use XCode swift language and python for server.

We need to develop a website where this game can be played live and implement many features.

Current AIs are smart. There is DeepSeek R-1.

Has anyone actually figured out how to implement this in coding environment and get it to actually CORRECTLY implement the tickets and features without messing everything up?

How can it know if the feature actually works in the game? It can't test it, right?

How can it take into account the ENTIRE database of code with folders and directories and files and all that stuff + resources uploaded?

I don't think even DeepSeek can do that.

Which tool is best as of now?

r33b33··on Music Generation AI Models
Are there any music generation models that work with sheet music or produce sheet music outputs that are actually good?
r33b33··on Our phones are killing our ability to feel sexy (2024)
No, you don't feel sexy, because you aren't sexy.
r33b33··on No Bitcoin ETFs at Vanguard (2024)
You can touch Facebook. They have offices with desks and computers. That's priced in the stock value.
r33b33··on DeepSeek-R1: Incentivizing Reasoning Capability in LLMs via RL
What you linked is actually not good prose.

Good writing is how people speak.

Your example is overstuffed with similes.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

> He sauntered toward her

"sauntered" - nobody actually talks like this. Stuff like that on each paragraph.

It's fanficcy

r33b33··on DeepSeek-R1: Incentivizing Reasoning Capability in LLMs via RL
> For those who haven't realized it yet, Deepseek-R1 is better than claude 3.5 and better than OpenAI o1-pro, better than Gemini.

Worse at writing. Its prose is overwrought. It's yet to learn that "less is more"

r33b33··on No Bitcoin ETFs at Vanguard? Here's why
The actual use case of crypto is censorship resistance, money laundering and sanction evasion. In a multipolar world, none of those are going away anytime soon, so crypto is here to stay.
r33b33··on No Bitcoin ETFs at Vanguard? Here's why
Stock investing has upward bias due to productivity. Also inflation offset. You can check long term S&P growth since inception. Stock market has positive EV on average. It's a positive sum game.

Sports betting or gambling has nevative EV and you lose more (on average) than you win.

So they are like night and day.

Even if the diffrence is 49.9% odds versus 51.01% odds that is worlds apart when it comes to laws of large numbers.

r33b33··on No Bitcoin ETFs at Vanguard? Here's why
> The difference is that I can create an infinite number of different block chains and or crypto coins.

Yes, but Russian Federation uses only one to evade sanctions.

r33b33··on No Bitcoin ETFs at Vanguard (2024)
How much of gold value is honest commodity value and how much of it is speculative value? I think you will determine speculative value is something above 80%. If that is the case, then arguing that there should be a huge disrecepency between price of BTC and price of gold is intellectually dishonest, since 100% speculative value and 80% speculative value isn't THAT different.
