Seems balanced to me.

Then I played some mobile JRPGs that had gacha (gambling) elements. New fancy unit (big damage numbers or skimpy clothing or both) comes out every week and you get them by spending scarce resources on slot machine-like animations. Somehow I fell for this, despite knowing all about how gachas work, spending hundreds of dollars over the course of a few years. Now I realize I'm not a superior life-form. I just needed to be gifted a few wins of something that mattered to me, and then I'm throwing away money on pull after pull just like a casino gambling addict.
> After one too many PR scandals though, there was one that I just can't stomach as well as the rest. Which is... The CEO being a Trump man.
These are starting to pop up on HN (another example: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49585161). Outright political posts get flagged here so the new tactic looks to be pretending to make a decision for technical reasons.
Feels good when you get to dish it out doesn’t it?
I don't blame you for your solution but it is so sad that we have to basically pay protection money to Google now so that our loved ones don't get scammed and robbed while they are consuming addictive/slop content.
There are some 3d printer models for building grids of individual cable organizers (https://makerworld.com/en/models/946444-gridfinity-cable-org...) but I have too many cables and my collection is too dynamic to well-utilize something as static as that.
Not sure if online people are just always negative about everything or I happen to be cherry-picking instances where they were wrong, but going against the grain has worked great for me so far.
I had a different AI (Grok) successfully take a prompt like "I live at this address and need to pick up my son from school at 2:30pm, and then we need to hit these three stores before heading back home. Find the path with the least driving and add all of these as discrete events to my calendar with their addresses embedded, and give me a google maps link with the full path so I can double-check". Did it correctly on the first try. I'd think other AIs could do that too. So I'm thinking it was the scanned image that gave it problems?
There’s a place for it and it’s the news where I can consume it when I feel like it. Not the application launcher of my operating system.
I've been using https://github.com/homeassistant-ai/ha-mcp for my Home Assistant instance and it has been awesome.
"What amps and charging schedule should I set my EV to charge at, so that at peak electricity rate time my house battery is at 90%." Looks at my house battery, car battery, current weather forecast, and house solar production, all of which are integrated into my Home Assistant. Looks at my gmail calendar. "16 amps, 9:30am-3:30pm, higher than usual because you're driving to lunch from 11am-12pm" (shows math). It can even go ahead and set it for me but I haven't given it read/write access to my car yet.
This particular situation seems ridiculous. I’d be furious if I lived there.
