there are a few other things too like only being charged to upload files once vs paying a subscription for the rest of your life, or only needing one password for all sites.

newsblur let's you organise things into subfolders too which is helpful
the other thing in going to start using is youtube-dl to download my watch later videos and then use something like emby or plex to watch them. maybe do the same with videos that I want to keep so I don't have to worry about then disappearing every second day
whenever a page loads all the elements move around for a second or two before they settle in their right place. that would crack me up if I had to put up with that all day
Well dreams are a fairly beneficial things to have especially if you have some epiphany or figure out the solution to a problem you're having.
The near death thing might just be your brain dumping that DMT out of your pineal gland all at once either when your body is shutting down from natural causes or when you are in some kind of traumatic accident.
the only thing stopping me from importing everything into it is that there is only 1 export option. they need to add a html option and maybe plaintext
they're all in you're user folder on Windows so wouldn't that be pretty much the same as the root gdrive folder and whatever subfolders you have things organised into?
Maps.me: https://f-droid.org/app/com.github.axet.maps
osmAnd has a ton of features. maps is more basic but is better for navigation since it has a 3d option
its been about 4 months of using nothing but a trackpad and even though its really good im fairly certain I'll be sticking with trackpoints from here on out.
one thing that's really starting to bug me lately is the accidental clicks from your palm hitting the edge of the trackpad. I don't know how people manage with those new macbooks with the oversized trackpads
try "maps" for something more basic (white logo with black M). it's a fork of mapbox's "map.me" app just without any ads
most of the new music i find these days is on discover weekly so I don't have as much of a need to upload tracks. it is really odd that none of the other services have added that feature yet. talk about being behind! its been 7 years
another thing that bugged me about Google music is the albums and singles being mixed up and also the album view not showing the order by year. it seems to be just random.
but apart from that its pretty decent and it is odd that its not mentioned as much as the others
there some audio on YouTube of the man himself reading a short passage that helps get an idea of how some of the words sound https://youtu.be/M8kFqiv8Vww
the mckenna video above was my introduction to the wake and its well worth a listen.
i jumped into the deep end with the wake a few years back without ever reading his earlier work but im listening to a podcast now by frank delaney where he goes through ulysses line by line and christ is that book dense. there are so many references that in some episodes he only gets through a single line! I'm thinking now that maybe ulysses is the deep end and the wake is one of those huge sink holes that collapse and swallow whole buildings.
could you explain this a bit more? ive been routing my gmail to protonmail since i started using it but im slowly changing accounts from using gmail to protonmail as i go
there are still plenty of times where a headphone jack can be useful. when you run out of charge, if youre at someone elses house but then dont have any bluetooth receiver.
maybe in the future when bt headphone batteries last more than a day i might be able to get behind the idea a bit more
