> For less than the price of 1 CD per month (and I used to buy WAY more than 1 CD per month) I have access to a near-infinite amount of music.

> I've added 49 full or partial albums to my library since 1/1/2025 for $78.

Counterpoint: I haven't bought a record in over 10 years. That is, I have added exactly zero full or partial albums to my library since 1/1/2014. Even though I stopped spending money, I didn't have to stop (legally) listening.

If your numbers are correct, this (being able to play the music that I've listened to over the last 10 years) is something would have cost me over $1500.

pwdisswordfishz··on Denmark to tackle deepfakes by giving people copyright to their own features
I don't know how to tell you this, but Denmark is a sovereign state and does not derive its interpretation and objectives of copyright from the US constitution.

Why does it need to be a JavaScript API?

Why not just use the lang= attribute as it was intended, then let the user select text to translate as they wish?

Forget "fun". Profanity is a signal of honesty. Which I much prefer to hiding behind patronizing, obfuscatory euphemisms like "verifying the security of your connection" and processes that diffuse responsibility out of existence.

Well, HTML e-mail arbitrarily stylable by the author was a mistake. This could have been avoided by a profile of HTML that removes presentation markup and CSS, leaving only pure semantic markup that a client can render in a "reader mode" equivalent.
