Don’t think there’s a live stream. But there might be a recording afterwards.
It's really nice to see him answer in a calm and mostly objective tone while people are blaming him for shortcomings and problems of all the different Matrix-related software projects. Admitting to failures and problems that Matrix definitely has, while still defending the overall project and giving insight into the status of MSCs/projects is admirable.
Thank you Matthew. I wish you an endless amount of patience for the future.
Example: About a year ago, "Threads" went out of Beta and the feature is pretty much still unusable, because Notifications get stuck all the time. Even though there was a lot of progress to fix this – it's still not up to par with other Messengers.
There’s much more lightweight solutions out there that also collect much less data.
One option which I couldn’t find on this site is „Umami“ - which is what I use now for most of my private sites and small clients.
"Shooting over USB" is not a requirement to use this. The camera only needs to be able to output the preview stream via USB, which works with most cameras.
Prepare to spend much time debugging, configuring, reading tickets, etc. If you only want files and Cloud office, consider using alternatives like Seafile[1] or the new OwnCloud rewrite in Go called OCIS[2], which are MUCH more stable than Nextcloud.

GA is a very complex tool, that often is complete overkill for small sites. So when you ask for GA alternatives, you will probably hear Matomo as a suggestion – but this also is in the same area of complexity as GA and would probably not be a good fit for your project (and it wouldn't solve your cookie problem without proper configuration).
So maybe a better question would be "What analytics tool should I use for project XYZ?"
If you want a minimal approach, take a look at Umami (https://umami.is/), which is about as minimal as it gets (when talking about frontend JS analytics tools).
