Yeah, sounds roller-coastery.
...said another way?...
"It is reasonable to expect a few questions after we emphasize the importance of changing how we talk about x while we also emphasize that changing x is not the objective."
The reasoning in this part of the email is pretty good.

Transcript at the bottom. Coincidentally, Reich offers anecdote regarding Soros and taxes at about 30 minutes into interview. However, I'm posting this for its general coverage of the topic. (edited to clarify)
I've also been a happy customer of your VPN product, but I'd be happy to retire the OpenVPN app on my iPhone. Any word on an iOS app soon?
Hey! What are the odds you and some other user commenting here both have such similar experiences?! You should connect with them on Facebook! Maybe Github?

Could've been trolling. Seems like responding with "do you mean x or y?" would've been more constructive, though.
Edit: Perhaps the box is the art and the outputs are commentary on Art as a Commodity?
"It’s become such a problem that the show’s producers are considering almost doubling premium-priced "Hamilton” tickets to $995 to keep more of the profit for themselves, according to the New York Post."
It occurs to me that my brain now readily connects these brands to trash. There was a time when that wasn't the case.

"And what we realized was that we could potentially build a SWAT team, a world-class technology office inside of the government that was helping across agencies. We’ve dubbed that the U.S. Digital Services."
Yes, that's a great analogy! Go with that!
"And this was a little embarrassing for me because I was the cool, early adaptor President."
Cooler and adepter!

It sounds, initially, like Google's role is very passive, but I think control over what surrounds the podium has the potential to be very active. "Hey, Candidate B has better lighting!"
Google as active medium becomes the active message? Thoughts?
What to Submit
On-Topic: Anything that good hackers would find interesting. That includes more than hacking and startups. If you had to reduce it to a sentence, the answer might be: anything that gratifies one's intellectual curiosity.
Off-Topic: Most stories about politics, or crime, or sports, unless they're evidence of some interesting new phenomenon. Videos of pratfalls or disasters, or cute animal pictures. If they'd cover it on TV news, it's probably off-topic.
It seems like the motivation for the article is to call attention to a stereotypical "tech bro". Is "tech bro" in common usage?
I guess I didn't realize that appending "bro" to create a pejorative term has become so common.

MESSAGE: Info you requested - JFK is still alive. He wants to meet you soon. Also, aliens. Lots of them.

In that ridiculous example, it seems like the Sec of State isn't thinking to herself, "I hope they don't classify this info later."
It's the official's responsibility to know what is and what isn't classified whether it is "marked". As a lawyer (and a Clinton!), she would certainly be parsing her words carefully.
