All I need is a mini-press operation
Love goat stew - but you have to know how to season and cook it right tho.
The UI is very dated, but we're working on a rewrite with modern UI.
Unions are the only protection but companies do everything to burst unions e.g Starbucks and Amazon.
I haven’t completely gotten away from the habit but I now make sure I ask at least 3-5 questions about how they’re going to address the issue, details or how they feel - it helps me slow down the stream of solutions and more often than not they already have a solution of sort!
Question - do you eat meals in regular schedule or just once a day?
Also what kind of bugs are coming up is important... I think bug do tell stories; it might help you identify issues with feature assumptions on workdlow or use-cases and that needs to inform your product development as a feedback loop to avoid technical debt and having to rewrite stuff later.
Depending on the size of your team, I would have a 2-4 people focusing on just bugs / QA (so you can catch most bugs going forward) while the rest of the team focuses on new features.
I've considered implantable monitoring like Eversense CGM but it's costly and the implants only last for 90 days and requires doctor's visit to "install" it. At the moment - I resort to finger testing whenever I feel off or want to know the measurement.
I would be willing to do an implant (chip?) if it can last for say a year+ with Apple Watch, for example, tracking the data and sending me alerts as needed.
And I don't even mean racism - say your potential candidate is older with kids (assuming you're younger) would you pass them because they cannot go out drinking with you after work (a.k.a social circle)?
That said, I agree that you want to work with people you get along with, but it has to be at work. Social circle is the issue for me.
The quickest hires IMHO are via referrals - but this is sort like arranged marriages/dates and it comes with it's own set of issues (nepotism etc).
I think companies need to have dedicated HR / Recruiters (or hire headhunters) to cut down on such frustrations. But the problem is tech hires, unlike construction / temp hires require high touch interviews with department heads etc. Add flood of resumes (now that WFH is a thing) and it's so difficult to speed up the process since it's costly to hire the wrong candidate.
I say that because a while back I started using CBD oil (yes, I bought into awesome benefits in listicles!) AND it triggered the worst 3 weeks of my life ever! Endless stream of panic attacks, paranonia and Depersonalization-Derealization [1].
I'm never touching CBD again!

A good way to do that is be open to them explaining stuff to you - they'll yap away while you halfway listen as you focus on your core task, don't try to be at thier level. Be a student.
Think of it this way a car mechanic probably knows way more, about engines for example, than a car designer.
Most CMS are installed via auto-installers (e.g on cpanel) and are also managed by mostly nontechnical users using shared hosting! So… if your CMS is written in Perl or Python with tones of modules required then you’re out of luck when it comes to adoption.
Come to think of it - I don’t think I have any hobby that borders on scary to anyone ( flying somehow calms me and snaps me to reality tho).
Perhaps I’m just an anxious person, but caving is a nope for me!
I've always dismissed it as an excuse for not doing well in school & life... but I sometimes wonder if it's a legit phychological "hold" of some sort.
This is an opportunity, I think, for you to sell an Enterprise Appliance version of your application at 1000X the price. Such whales (customers willing to pay for custom BI) can host it internally, in a private-cloud or as a manged private-cluster (copy). If you go add-on replica route - then perhaps replicating data to Analytic Database with nosql type storage format will be ideal in solving schema problems and decoupling the access.
Perhaps not product direction - but I would suggest it anyhow; It would be awesome to explore making it an onboarding / interractive / guided self-serve walkthrough pilot with checklists and such. That's a better product for SAAS model in the longterm - making interactive demo recording a feature and a tool for metrics collection etc.
In my opinion - I'm not so sure if the product should be marketed to "dev teams" per se! To me it looks like a collaboration tool around product development... not just for developers.
I would think the primary buyer would be PMs (Product / Project Managers) who would then push for the tool-use onto the dev teams as a way to improve collaboration and close the feedback-loop across all stakeholders (design, marketing etc). Yes, for that to be a success it requires devs to love it and indeed make thier job easier, but I don't think they're the primary buyers. Developers, in general, are notoriously hard to sell to because they filter out marketing jargon!
