pguzmang··on Using an LCD’s poor viewing angle to your advantage
Currently, you can buy a private filter for any monitor and you can see what is in the monitor only if you are in front of it. I think they should develop their own devices with the applications to sale them.

mmmm ... You have a strong password but how you will remember it with a sticky note?

Some persons says that a pass phrase is safer password and it is indeed math true. However, currently most of the systems have catpchas or block out and brute force or dictionary attacks are no longer used.

One of the more effective methods is for example: you made a user in a weak page like a blog or something and then a someone break into a obtain a email account and the password for the blog.

Maybe if the hacker is smart enough he could try the email account with same password found and they got you. So, different passwords is the safest method you can lastpass, 1password, keepass to remember your password. They also allow to use multi-step security using OTP devices like yubi key or RDA token

pguzmang··on My Startup Story: Lessons Learned from Ngame.tv
I think flat tv is the best bet apple could try, as well as a cell phone the tv will be the next personal computer in our home. So, with the astonishing image quality every apple device has in their hi def screen could easily beat the competence.

As everybody knows the price is not a problem for apple.

That's my humble opinion.

pguzmang··on Xkcd Password Generator
This article is math true, however, hackers no longer use brute force attacks and the most popular method is to attack a weak website like for example a not very popular blog, then if they succesfully broke it they have a password and a email account from you and if they are very lucky you have the same password for the email account, so, they got you. Therefore, nowadays it is safer to have different passwords for every site. Personally, I love to use lastpasss for my personal use and keepass for the office to store and manage passwords. Obviously, the weakest link of the chain is my password for the password manager application. Any of you use a different password manager?
