It is a good idea, thanks!

Next milestone is an ability to publish a manuscript and make it paid. One after it is an author community management tools.

Hoping to release both in this year.

for now it is only for moderators, but we will make it accessible for everyone in a few weeks.

Just don't want to make a false promises because this is mostly a side project right now and you know how they are going.

But our goal is to make a platform for authors to write, publish and sell unfinished books aka manuscript. So basically author will be able to publish two pages from a book and then write in online, discussing everything with his fan community and having controls who see a book.

It will be free for a free books. There will be 15% fee for selling books both finished and manuscripts. And some twitch like tools for managing and growing a personal community. And there will be no ad.

We started from decent online mobile reader, but have plans to add downloads.

It is a foundation and the first step and on a long way to the service me and my friend want to build.

It will include improving of reader experience, tools for authors and, I hope, a community of likeminded people.

Any feedback much appreciated

REALLY loves this one

Yeah, it would be honest. But I would like to see any researches saying it does not working

I can oppose that if you make your character vivid, with more points where a reader can associate himself with this person or moved by his feeling, there is a higher chance that the reader would remember a character.

That was just an example. You're absolutely right, there are much more moving desires than listed.

I don't think, although, that there is such a thing as completely internal desire. Love and need to be loved can't happen without external intelligence.

I can think only one such motivator — fear of death. Which can lead to hope being remembered and other powerful motivs

Yeah, her theory is awesome too. Need to write about it

You are right, the story can be good even with flat characters, but personally I end up rereading and rewatching ones where all the characters are vivid with their good and bad sides.

Such as First law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie — every main character is a fucking living person

nice serial, thanks dude

Why are this lot came from this small country?

Let's discuss
