Let's say that only 4000 people buy the bundle (highly unlikely, probably much more), the cost of the macbook and ipad is $2000 Your expected value from the prizes is $2000 / 4000 = $0.5.

$0.5 / $79 total cost = 0,6% wow. great.

I currenty own a consulting web agency that also has its own revenue websites (what's the correct name for those? lot of smallish site that have revenues with either ads, subscription or e-commerce). Just as Google nowadays doesn't have a single idea but rather a lot of projects I believe this is a model that can work in a company that's doing 1/2 consulting and 1/2 its own smallish projects. There's just 4 of us now but we're always looking for people, especially if they recognize themselves in a document like this one.

I'm in LOVE with this paper. Can't wait to make my company more like that.

Don't take it personally, is just that we don't want any kind of humour or otherwise pointless (as in: adds nothing to the conversation) informations. We are trying to keep the signal to noise ratio high, just say something only when it adds to the conversation and you'll do great!

I'm not sure this is what we really need, considering that the HN hive mind is pretty smart and that anyway big name authors are already upvoted just because of their names often.

What about sites and keywords in other languages? This would be useful to us if it somehow didnt put a lot of english keywords together with the italian ones

because "technical" encloses both "programming" and "design" (which by the way I don't think is as strategic as "Interaction Design") in the same way that "business" encloses "organization", "marketing" and "sales" (and possibly much more)
