Making everything monochrome is surly not more accessible, because there sure are people who find it easier to distinguish by color than shape.
It is run by a small local webhosting company, at which I've been a customer for my whole adult life (~20 years)
My preferred way to keep notes of thoughts that I have on the way, is "Simplenote". I've tried other Note taking Apps, but so far Simplenote feels the most solid when it comes to syncinc the content. Syncinc NEVER blocks the App, it happens automatically and quickly in the background, I Never had to wait for the sync, or press a button or refresh anything.
Other than that, "Simplenote" feels very lightwight and fast, exactly what I want, when I want take a note when in hurry.
Millions of cars running through european towns at speeds high enough to kill a pedestrian, yet a wolve roaming through some far off forrest is considered more dangerous and newsworthy.
Instead of feeling lucky to have a skill highly sought after, and to live in an economy that can afford to not only pay good money, but that will even send people out to throw that money after you, you still find reason to complain.
Set aside, I am aware, that there are crappy jobs, companies and people around, that want to scam and screw you.
But overall, that situation is quite a luxury, ... complaining about that is even beyond the proverbial first world problems.
Though Europeans are catching up there too.
Sure, it might be interesting and eventually pleasing to look at, but in the end it is like obsessing about the manufacturer of a specific Coin-Slot-Component of an Arcade-Machine.
And that means it only makes you happy, if happiness is the sound that coins make in your purse. And that is a quite boring and limited outlook on happiness in my opinion.

Firing someone in Europe for some minor issue like that would probably be a major legal issue here.
GPL violations as far as I understand it are always a matter to be settled between the original authors and the offenders. I am not aware that the GPL gives bystanders and angry fanboys'n girls the right to sue anyone.
A) Live in a large city, preferable a "Tech Hub" B) Find (small/Startup) Companies that are near where you live C) Research a nice Cafe somewhere close to their office D) Write an informal mail, "Hey, I saw you are looking for a 'INSERT JOB TITLE HERE', I live pretty close to your office, how about a short meeting at 'INSERT NAME OF CAFE HERE', I'd like to ask some quick questions about your company and the job position?
Have a nice day, 'INSERT YOUR NAME HERE'"
See what happens, ...
A good way to prepare for that is to go to meetups in the same city that are closely related to the technology that the company uses, and chat up existing employees.... But attending meetups all the time can be tiring too.
