The end of the article mentions that this one is still critically endangered, with 600 known specimens.
For the record, QNAP does too, I've got an automated job that backs up any new files it sees every Sunday morning.
And the reason you'll never see it in random frozen samples from 20 years ago is that your cells have to be alive for it to happen, and those ones aren't.

Pretty glad I don't own American stock right now, because they're apparently led by madmen.

I mean, if the history of the USA between the years of 2001 and 2021 are any indication, small countries inflicting pain on much larger and better equipped armies is absolutely enough to change an outcome.

That's a pretty weird way to do math, honestly. Shouldn't you figure out what equation you need and then just type it? If you're off by one or whatever, adjust it then, you're still only typing it twice.
And then a very similar gap between the fundamental units of one small branch of biology, ecology, where the fundamental units are living things and the emergent behavior is everything you see outside your window! We have a lot of math that explains how things act and evolve together and it's all just the tiniest little smidge of what actually happens.
While that's going on in the cytoplasm, the nucleus is a real mess. Sometimes it's 1N, sometimes 2N, sometimes even 4N! If we accept that humans are a species because of our DNA, then there's just no way you could ever call that embryo human in the first 36ish hours post-fertilization. I don't know quite what you'd call it, but it's definitely not that.
