Show HN: Feedback on Snouters?
snouters.com
snouters.com
After reloading the page I get an instant 503 error, so yeah definitely an overloaded hosting account. Don't trust Hetzner with your business, they're trash budget hosting providers. Also your website is hosted in Helsinki, which doesn't seem great if you target Indian markets.
//EDIT
Also I think this should be a Show HN [0], which has special rules.

1. Impressed by the number of pet-sitters already on the site available.
2. Radius slider seems weird. I push the slider right and it reduces the amount of orange but increases the radius? It seems like the orange should be on the left and I should fill in the maximum bar as I expand my search. Also not clear to me where the center of the circle I am apparently expanding is.
3. "Allow more pets than the capacity:" I'm not sure what this means or why some people answer it with "yes". What is capacity if not the limit of pets the sitter can handle and why would they allow more than what they can handle and why would you want that?
4. There is a "price per guest" and a "Pet Daycare Charges Per Day" plus "additional cost for meals" plus 20% fees and taxes. I feel like I don't really understand what it would cost. I guess most pet owners drop off food for their pets with the animals - is that why meals aren't default included?
5. I clicked the "check availability" "button" (or styled a tag) but it doesn't seem to do anything. Not sure why this is there or what it does or should do.
6. Image carousel breaks for some people. e.g. This guy's images seem messed up - https://snouters.com/listing/sudhir-d/
7. Relatively few reviews for the sitters (I assume this is new). The reviews that I have seen have a number of different categories - which I feel conflicted about - harder to summarize as "good" or "bad" but maybe worthwhile to separate out concerns? But also probably people will either give all 5 stars if they are satisfied and all bad if not. I also don't see any text on the reviews which might allow reviewers to express specific concerns.
8. Lots of errors and warnings on the console and sometimes clicking on the website doesn't do exactly what I expect. I wonder if these are related.
9. Under "Pet Services" "Doggy Daycare" and "Pet Boarding" seem to be the same thing. It shows the same people with the same "per night" prices. I would expect Doggy Daycare to be cheaper and per day or per hour rather than per night.
10. The text strikes me as not being well edited or reviewed. There are typos and grammatical errors. Some strings are awkward or verbose. Words are used and written inconsistently (e.g. sometimes Snouters, snouters, or SNOUTERS, sometimes "host" or "pet parent" or "parent").
I also have a question about how you stop people from hooking up with their dog sitter outside of your website. I assume the Snouters business model is to take a fee or a percentage. If I get a dog sitter, likely to be near where I live, and I like the sitter, and I have the sitter's number, then why would I go back to Snouters in the future - wouldn't I just contact the sitter directly?
