Hey everyone!

I've been using Claude Code a lot lately and wanted an easier way to discover and manage skills, so I built Skill Studio - a free, open-source desktop app for macOS.

What it does:

- Browse skill repositories from the community (Anthropic, Vercel, and more)

- Preview skill documentation with full markdown rendering

- One-click install via npx skills add or copy to ~/.claude/skills/

- Add custom GitHub repositories

- Search and filter by name or installation status

- Favorite skills/repos for quick access

You can check it here https://github.com/onmyway133/skill-studio

Hi all, after a month of beta testing Peek Weather https://indiegoodies.com/weather on Testflight, I've done several iterations already and want to share with you today

First, why do we need another weather app? I built this for several reasons

Where I live in Oslo, the default Apple weather app does not give correct forecast and I have to rely on a local app to get forecast

I don't feel like any weather apps outside, either they are complicated and confusing. Their UI is plain and not clear, it takes time to tell whether an a number is degree or hour or day.

I want the app to look like we look at the sky. When we look outside, we see the sky, the sun, and when it's raining, we see rain. At night, we see night sky. I always wish a weather app to look just like that

So I'm happy to build Peek Weather with scrollable weather forecast, a handy widget, the ability to pick precise location on map, plenty weather effect, quotes for the hour and some easter eggs in the app if you can find it

Key Features:

Beautiful Interface: Enjoy a visually stunning design that enhances your weather checking experience.

Multiple Weather Sources: support Apple WeatherKit, MET Norway, and more to come

Interactive Graphs: Easily visualize detailed hourly and daily forecasts with interactive and intuitive graphs.

Detail day and hourly view: sun rise range, moon phase, wind speed and uv index with recommendations

Precise Location Search: Find weather information for any location worldwide using our precise map picker.

Comprehensive Forecasts: Get important weather details at a glance, including precipitation, wind speed, UV index, and more.

Intuitive weather effect: rain, snow, sun rise, sun set, moon phase, night sky

Plenty of fancy backgrounds for different occasions

Easter eggs: Find the rising star and enjoy surprise quotes

Ad-Free Experience: Enjoy uninterrupted weather updates without any ads.

The app is totally free, and support 2 weather sources for now. Due to the cost paying for weather services and backend, you can update the data 2 times day. For premium, you can have more frequent updates.

Please check it out, if you want to be join Testflight to check new features early, please don't hestitate to DM me.

onmyway133··on Show HN: Over 50 places to promote and launch your products
Over the years of building apps, I've bookmarked places where we can share and launch products. Product Hunt launch is usually the primary focus but it does not hurt to promote it other places

So I've listed them here https://indiegoodies.com/awesome-launch with taggings. It has helped me a ton when I launched my projects. Hope you find it useful

onmyway133··on Show HN: Preview Dock Windows from Almighty
Hi all, the other day I got to fix some Windows issues for a friend, and being haven't used Windows for a long time, I kinda miss the Dock hover preview windows feature from Windows.

To be honest, Mac has Mission Control but the experience is not quite there compared to Windows in this aspect.

So I quickly made this tweak available in Almighty https://indiegoodies.com/almighty Hope it will be useful

onmyway133··on Show HN: View keyboard shortcuts in any Mac app
With increasing number of Mac apps that we use daily, there's need to learn keyboard shortcuts to use effectively, but our memory is limited.

Would be nice if we can just search and filter in an easy way.

Therefore I made a new tweak in Almighty (https://onmyway133.com/almighty) to browse and search keyboard shortcuts in any Mac apps

onmyway133··on Show HN: I'm making Codelime to create beautiful code snippet screenshot
Hi, I'm making Codelime https://twitter.com/codelimeHQ which starts as my need to store code snippets I use often. It also contains some nifty tools for daily iOS development like generating model code from JSON or Asset Catalog icon set.

Recently I've added a tool to craft beautiful snippet screenshot. Since Codelime manages snippets, it would be missing to not allow sharing it.

The app is available for both Mac, iPhone and iPad. Thanks for reading and hope you find the app useful.
