When you get that idea that you can't let go, it makes it easier to deal with the obstacles (like mortgages)

I think what's important is looking at the tradeoffs - which shortcuts make sense and which ones don't?
There's definitely an argument for both sides. Having a cofounder to balance out the work is key but maybe it depends on the person/type of company?
