Step 0: determine whether or not rebuilding trust is even worth the time and effort. When trust is lost, you’re not starting over—-you’re starting with a deficit.
Most people don’t. They just go on with their lives until they hit their breaking point or die. Occasionally they lash out at people with actual power, but they usually just kill children and people buying lettuce.
I wouldn’t mind the wealth transfer if the client jurisdictions’ representatives didn’t meddle in their patron jurisdictions’ local politics. But I suppose it leaves them more to expropriate.
I’ll add a fourth: these services will inevitably be hacked, their data added to multiple darkweb data dumps, and circulated among nation states, hackers, and advertisers for the rest of time.
Boeing has offices in nearly every congressional district, and has been openly bribing congress for decades. They will never fail, experience hardship, or suffer consequences for anything so long as the current republic stands.
This is a bait and switch. If you’re comfortable with your employer using dark patterns against you, go for it. If not, maybe consider another employer.
So much of the “never buy a rental” stigma is ICE-specific. EVs don’t rely on hundreds of hard-to-reach soft parts that can disable the vehicle if you drive them too hard.
But I’ll definitely be checking the battery and motors before buying a used EV.
I hope this is a signal that Brooks has turned to activism and is working to spread the message of love within his party. I eagerly await examples of his success and wish him all the best.
I’m waiting on Apple’s final decision on the CSAM scanner before I buy any more hardware from them. These processors look cool, but I don’t think they’re worth the Apple premium if they’re also spying for law enforcement.
Did that happen in the US in 2020? I thought the overwhelming majority of those claims were dismissed.
The real crime is calling bribes “campaign contributions” and pretending that our politicians (of all parties) aren’t selling their votes to the highest bidder.
