I can imagine growers don’t like them as much though, despite the lack of patents and trademarks. In Europe they were abundant and amazing quality last year, lasting into February. This harvest their flavour wasn’t there, many were mealy, and they were unavailable within a month. Their worst year as far as I can remember.
The cause in 1940 was apparently an artillery duel between German and British troops, which is on a different level from purposefully setting fire to a library within an occupied city, even if the result is equally terrible.

I will say that this article together with one from earlier this year [1] put into question the benefit of cold storage.

It had all of 2MB memory originally, which was a real bottleneck in its later days. I did add 16MB at some point, to increase its life. From then on, when using PostScript instead of PCL for printing, it was clearly CPU-bound.
I’m still conflicted about them taking it to recycling even though it worked reliably. It was over 20 years old.
OCSP stapling helps maintain privacy, so eg. ESNI isn’t completely pointless when stapling is used.
Edit to add: It’s possible to run update-crypto-policies --set=DEFAULT:SHA1 and avoid enabling the whole LEGACY policy
(It seems like C. Elegans has not been studied in space to the same extent as fruit flies.)

You used to be able to go inside the test flight one, but it’s a cramped space, so things might be different while covid regulations are in force.

I’ve had a buildroot image on a Pi 4 for over a year now, and it appears to be accurate to within 10 microseconds.
On older Pi versions USB is run in kernel instead of on chip, causing thousands of cpu interrupts per second. Also its on board ethernet is run through USB.
Maybe we need a crawler that keeps track of the hidden centralisation of the web. Or is someone doing that already?
Cloudflare, AWS, fastly, etc. It’s not quite all eggs in one basket, but the amount of baskets is small, and the amount of eggs in them is growing. This is a timely reminder of that.
It’s not the same as the rinse-aid, which reduces the surface tension of the water so droplets won’t stay on the dishes (i.e. a surfactant).

For the high-magnification objective we find M = 254×. For the low-magnification objective we find M = 27×.
The huge cell is a Purkinje cell. I don’t remember much about neuroscience, so I hope someone else can elaborate.
Later on the interview suggests that every single neuron could store megabytes of information, but this seems more like conjecture to me.
