Thanks for sharing - loads of great ideas there for the GitHub team.

White vinegar is a fierce cleaning product and a salad dressing. Although to me it has the disadvantage of tasting like a cleaning product.

Are those AA batteries?

Do you mean these are shared instances, and the stated resources are not actually available?

Thank you for the correction.

I guess this is why you're getting downvoted. Commits can be edited.

> Artemis acceptable crew mortality rate is 1 in 30.

So with 4 crew members, chance of one dying was 13%! Very lucky they all survived.

Additional question: why do only some people notice?

Disappointing. I understood Neo doesn't come with a power plug in UK; was yours the official one?

My experiences are all from third-prong countries.

> It's easy for me to feel the mains frequency while gently rubbing the top surface of the MacBook

I haven't been a regular Mac user, but I've had maybe 3 work MacBooks since 2010 and I recall having this issue with all of them.

Why haven't they fixed it?

> tiny convenience over a nitrided, ceramic, or seasoned cast iron pan

Or stainless steel?

Mostly it seems the documentation is vague. Is there anything clearer than this?

What kind of vibes are you picking up on? As a contractor, "project rescue" is a massive opportunity, so a bit of dysfunction is often a good sign.

Watched a couple of times, but I don't fully understand the message in this video. Can someone ELI5?

Sounds like Codeberg would still take down the repo, but would be more supportive: https://blog.codeberg.org/on-the-youtube-dl-dmca-takedown.ht... (2020)

Maybe there are more recent examples?

> when you exist 40ms and a firewall away from the world

That sure is an impressive ping!

Well supermarkets do have high-sugar ultraprocessed snacks right next to the check-out counter, so I think your analogy is spot on.

Now I just need to vibecode a plugin for my smart glasses to filter out those snacks.

Struggling to find a source, but apparently modelines are disabled by default in debian and perhaps other common distros.

I'd be interested to understand what modelines are for, and if this is a class of bug that can be disabled via vim settings. Also, are there editors which could not be affected by this class of bug?

Don't worry - when you're done tracking it's your children that will clean up.

What's the FOMO caused by? Asking as a vim user starting to get FOMOOFOMO.

Maybe one less operator required? Less chance of losing a hand?

Nice! Although not sure I'd want to pull one up on a beach like in the marketing pics.

Does the tech advancing yacht racing transfer to industrial or social uses?

> Can’t charge phone while using wired headphones

You can with wireless charging!

> "I could care less"

Do people really say this? Is it exclusive? I've only heard the inverse: "I couldn't care less".

Edit: genuine question. Please explain downvotes!

> a reminder to me to never use async/await

What issues did you face with async/await?

> high fructose corn syrup in the Western diet

US diet? Is corn syrup common elsewhere?

Billy Whizz is rhyming slang for Jimmy Riddle.
