I've used relayd in front of a ruby on rails app that spawns 4 sockets, but I don't see why you would do it for httpd.
Note that httpd is based on relayd and likely still shares a lot of the same code.

It feels like one of these "ricer" things like opening 9 terminals just to run cmatrix and screenfetch.
I think it is a sane default in 2024.
This is true for anything cybersecurity related and more strict for "intrusion" tooling.
Not sure about domestic sales though...
Embedding a script into a small tray icon/menubar app can be extremely powerfull even with its low complexity.
Drinking a beer in the car is just as legal here as drinking a pepsi. Personally I don't see the problem.
In certain apps, like MS Teams or Zoom, the bitrate for camera feeds is much lower _and_ you are just one of the several feeds on the screen. A screenshare takes over the layout so everyone is looking at the same thing.
It would be better if this gave a virtual screen rather than a virtual camera.
> In response to the study, Google gave $9.7 million in additional compensation to 10,677 employees for this year. Men account for about 69 percent of the company’s work force, but they received a higher percentage of the money. The exact number of men who got raises is unclear.
The gold standard (for my generation) was set by microsoft with the Mouse Wheel Optical 1.1a and IntelliMouse Explorer 3. It was 400 DPI mouse on 90-120 PPI screens.
Higher PPI on screen lead to higher DPI on the mouse. No need for Windows/MacOS/Linux to implement their own stupid acceleration charts.
> So what, do you complain that not every single vehicle has the same foot peddle resistance?
I've heard people complain about the responsiveness of their brakes for sure.
- FOSS (a plus but don't mind paying)
- Control of scrolling mode settings different for Horizontal vs Vertical
- Can disable mouse acceleration (I think only CursorSense can also do this).
- Universal back and forward buttons (replaces SensibleSideButtons)
- Settings are different per input device, scrolling can be per app
I cannot stand any mouse acceleration.
And I don't understand how people can work with it.
You have to retrain the muscle memory each time you switch OS.Downloading happened over usenet, but curation and discussion on a centralised website. The site got seized and the community moved to a new forum that runs on usenet itself.
Blockchain is overkill here - don't need a coin or stake or whatever
Journalists report on leaks from intelligence all the time, to the point that the "Intelligence sources say"-phrase is becoming a meme of US "news".
You can't open CNN or MSNBC without seeing some FBI or CIA head telling you what they want you to think.
Why something is being leaked is relevant, but it shouldn't be a reason to ignore the truth or attack the journalist.
As a Flemish/Dutch speaker, not a single assistant is able to understand me in my native tongue. I can use Siri in English, but then she doesn't understand things like contacts or addresses. Also I cannot dictate text messages or people think I'm a spammer.
I have all my work-related social media in NNW without the distractions.
NNW for Apple devices and NewsFlash for linux.
You put it on the plate so that it cannot be scanned but if police pulls you over it falls off.
Most of these apps (now) also include a JavaScript extension to block the harder ads (eg youtube). This a recent development that apple seems to encourage.
Some apps also offer network-level adblocking by using a local VPN server, which allows for blocking in apps.
I’d like to know my DNS is hanging rather than something completely made up, Discord.
