nkm··on Ask HN: How do I get started with version control?
Since Coda uses SVN, I would start by learning Subversion and then, when I feel comfortable with it, make the jump to Git.
nkm··on Ask HN: Massive vulnerability on Twitter?
I suppose they have a record of all the commands executed.
nkm··on Ask HN: Massive vulnerability on Twitter?
It works through the mobile web too
nkm··on Ask HN: Alternative to Snipplr.com?
I will go for Github's Gists, then.

Thanks for the replies.

No problem :), the comment makes it look like spam, actually.

The Custom Formats. Colors.app can both input and output color values in multiple formats (Hex, RGBA, HSL... you can even create your own), making much easier working with colors between Photoshop and CSS.

It's basically a nice interface for the system color picker.

I discovered this app not long ago in one of the comments in the following article; which covers other little gems too, definitely worth reading if you're into front-end design:

(sorry about the delay, it's hard to keep track of conversations here! :)

nkm··on Unvealing prettyLoader, a solution aimed to unify ajax loaders
Yes, that's too bad... The prospects aren't good either, it seems that Webkit won't support it anytime soon and who knows about IE.

Good to know :)

nkm··on Unvealing prettyLoader, a solution aimed to unify ajax loaders
Very nice, it's actually how background processing notification should look in web applications.

With a PNG and sprite animation it could be really pretty.

My apologies. Just wanted to give credit to site where I found the article (which I have nothing to do with, by the way).

An interesting read, imo.

nkm··on CSS Selectors and Pseudo Selectors and browser support (Updated 2010-03)
It includes IE9 preview, and latest betas from Chrome 5 and Opera 10.

It's kind shocking seeing that IE9 is actually ahead of Firefox in this area.

nkm··on Dear HN: I wrote a cross-platform GUI image compressor
Neat. I've read that it's inspired in ImageOptim (OS X) and I love this app. It can strip up to 10% of the size of a 180k JPG photo and 60% of a tiny PNG. Will try.

There is one feature that I miss though, and it's some results about the compresion. Like "You saved 120KB (12%) of a total of 20 files (1024KB)".

nkm··on Tell HN: Best OS X Utility for programmers who use the command line
Actually, the main developer of QSB is also the creator of Quicksilver, whom made it an open source project once Google hired him.

That's why Quicksilver has no official site, by the way.
