Is there any reports that show information for tap water?

Not sure where you're from but I enjoyed Bringing Up Bébé by Pamela Druckerman. It's all about French style parenting as she's an American raising her children in France.

> And the marble lobbies, the art, the concierges at the front desk - our hospitals look like not five-star hotels - seven-star hotels.

Is there specific examples of these hospitals? I've never seen anything that extravagant in any of the hospitals in Pittsburgh.

Doesn't opening that many accounts every year hurt your credit score?

I grew up in Ohio and currently live in western PA. I've never once watered my yard.

But how much of that is irrigated? As I understand it in California there is a lot of irrigated lawns. But I doubt the majority of lawns in the US is irrigated or watered.

Plus if you get a Target Red Card you get 5% every purchase.

Good point, and somewhat similar to President Obama's "Hope and Change" slogan.

I find the issue is with the actual authors. One post will be something helpful to my work and then the next will some politic rant. I want a social network where I only see the former post.

One thing I like to do is combine the tracks from each disc, so I listen to order like track 1, 13, 2, 14, etc. Most of the beginning tracks are less creepy.

Also there is a "missing" 19 track you can preview on his site: https://aphextwin.warp.net/release/68148-aphex-twin-selected....

I enjoyed the Dam tour when I took it years ago. Especially when the tour guide said the Hoover Dam was the last federal project completely on time and under budget.

That's a good example though: they should have the Air focus on thinness and portability. But have the Pro focus on a workstation-like setup.

It would look better if they left it on a white background, but it's constantly on a purple one and it looks so amateurish.

There was one started called Positron, but it was discontinued in early 2017. https://github.com/mozilla/positron

Evidently it is something "we" want. I personally think it looks awful. Just compare the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL on the techspecs page. I think the normal top looks much better.

> The mangled road network

Have you ever been in Pittsburgh? I cannot fathom many cities have a worse network between the myriad of bridges, triangle shaped downtown and geography.

The duopoly of iOs/Android is still far better than the duopoly of democrat/republican.

> Essence? What the hell is a cockroach essence?

Makes me think of La Croix sparkling water because all their drinks have fruit "essence" [1] in them. > Essence is created by heating items such as fruit and vegetable skins, rinds, and remnants at high temperatures, producing vapors. These vapors are condensed and then sold by the barrel.

I wonder if it's a similar process?

The Cinemark Movie Club is pretty nice, $9/month and you get 1 ticket and can buy another for $9. Then you get 20% off concessions.

Maybe it would make more sense for each state to come up with a plan for healthcare as each one would have different needs.

I don't understand the issue with paying to choose your seat on the budget airlines. My wife and I recently flew Spirit to and Southwest from our destination in the US. Even after adding bags and seat (we even paid for their big front seats) it was still cheaper than Southwest.

> a dentist with offices in Irvine and Orange, said he paid about $5,000 to sponsor seven buses…

I understand this dentist wanted to protect his neighborhood in his mind, but it's really sad if he's not donating any money to actually help the homeless.

The wealth seems like a much more accurate of the top 1%, especially with the amount of personal debt people have.

He and the "Greatest Show on Turf" were really fun to watch! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Greatest_Show_on_Turf

I'm not a huge fan of hockey but the sport seems to have so many interesting things like this that really sets it apart from other major sports. Could you ever see the NFL letting an amateur walk on the same day and play in a real game?

It seems that very few political meanings are accurate when it comes to US politics. The terms liberal and conservative have pretty much lost all their original meaning.

Not sure how perfect this is, but for the US there's a site showing inflation with older methods. http://www.shadowstats.com/alternate_data/inflation-charts

Do you mean the new Coke Zero Sugar in the US? I actually prefer the old version as the new one tastes a little more like Diet Coke.

It was terrible when the only thing you could do was alert your variables!
