I still get monthly emails from Google about the analytics for this website. Apparently it's getting 200-300 visitors per month still. I have replied back to Google vie email about this several times but never heard any reply. I wonder what site they are tracking?
Hiring based on political beliefs, or in this case, presumed political beliefs, sounds like a dangerous road to go down. And I am saying this as a young, STEM-educated person who skews left.
GoDaddy has done a number of lousy business practices in the past so while they do work well and do offer a lot, I cannot recommend them.
> Developers flocking to WSL in 6..5..4.. Maybe some, sure.
> Linux dead in 3..2..1.. What? Linux on the server won't see any change. Linux on the desktop, maybe, but I doubt most people using Linux on the desktop are going to even consider switching because Windows has a new UI framework.
The only big advantage that I see is one UI framework for Windows and multiple different ones for Linux.
But, given the choice to stay at home or go back? I am having trouble saying that I miss the office. I never worked remote before this. I'm not sure our team's productivity is hurt, I'm saving tons of money on gas, and saving all the travel time as well. There is also a personal component - I just plain don't miss the office.

I only see make here, though, not automake or autoconf.
- We just moved, so I'd rather be unpacking and organizing our stuff.
- I'm sitting at my home PC, where I normally work on fun projects that I care about, or play games, etc. There are two projects I am itching to do right now that I could be doing at my computer, but instead, I'm reading work emails.
- I am admittedly a bit burnout from my actual job right now.
- Three cats who want to climb all over me and my computer desk all day, and a dog who wants to play and go outside all provide excellent distractions.
I remember growing up, we used Outlook with our ISP-provided email addresses. The first time I ever saw webmail (it was probably Yahoo or Hotmail at the time) I was just confused. To me, web browsers are for browsing the web, and email clients are for accessing email. Eh, but what do I know. The article was interesting though.
This works for me with Firefox on Android. Not sure about Firefox Preview but definitely works on the normal FF app.
I've always been a FF user so there's nothing that would make me switch from Chrome. Extension support, speed, etc. are all exactly where I'd want them compared to Chrome, so really I don't feel like one has much of a leg up on the other.
