necatiozmen··on There's no such thing as a small software team anymore
This is the part people often miss: durable context matters more than the prompt. We are maintaining https://github.com/VoltAgent/awesome-design-md, an open-source collection of `DESIGN.md` files for coding agents.

It applies the same idea specifically to visual design, making things like typography, spacing, colors, layouts, and component patterns explicit and reusable. You can use the existing examples as a starting point or contribute your own.

necatiozmen··on Design.md: A format spec for describing a visual identity to coding agents
DESIGN.md very useful for quickly getting something up and running. We built a site where you can explore DESIGN.md files from popular websites. https://getdesign.md/

It works well for a fast transition.

necatiozmen··on Claude Design
https://getdesign.md/ provides more accurate design system extraction than Claude design. Could be use vice-versa
necatiozmen··on Anthropic raised trademark concerns, so Clawdbot ended up renaming
Yes, there are some security issues but at the end of the day this is a very new project with a lot of momentum. It’s going to evolve as more people start using and building on it. What we’re seeing right now feels like the first "real AI assistant" in practice.:)
necatiozmen··on Ask HN: What's your experience been with Claude Code subagents?
We've prepared a comprehensive collection of production-ready Claude Code subagents: https://github.com/VoltAgent/awesome-claude-code-subagents

It contains 100+ specialized agents covering the most requested development tasks - frontend, backend, DevOps, AI/ML, code review, debugging, and more. All subagents follow best practices and are maintained by the open-source framework community. Just copy to .claude/agents/ in your project to start using them.

Cool work, durable execution and resumability are hugely underrated problems in the agent space, especially once you move beyond toy demos. Love the checkpointing + waitFor pattern, and the Hatchet integration makes a lot of sense for infraheavy setups.

I’m one of the maintainers of VoltAgent , a TypeScript framework focused on agent composition, modular memory/tool flows, and built-in observability (tracing, input/output history..) (https://github.com/VoltAgent/voltagent)

We’re solving a different layer of the stack more on the orchestration/dev experience sid.

Definitely bookmarking this.

necatiozmen··on Airtable acquires Airplane
This is good example of vendor lock-in problem on low-code tools.
necatiozmen··on Ask HN: If you were to build a web app today what tech stack would you choose?
For the frontend, there is React framework called refine for building CRUD apps like admin panel and internal tools

https://github.com/refinedev/refine

It has built-in integrations for UI libraries and data providers. You can select your stack

necatiozmen··on Can you develop a CRUD app in 15 minutes?
Yes, you can bootstrap minimal CRUD app with authentication in 1 minute with refine - React framework app scaffolder. It gives the source code as well

necatiozmen··on Show HN: We built an open-source LaunchDarkly alternative for B2Bs
Congrats on launching! I really like the dashboard UI and the clean documentation.

We are running an open source React-based framework called "refine" for building any kind of CRUD app like admin panels, dashboards, forms and internal tool etc. If you want to take a look, here is the repo: Repo: https://github.com/refinedev/refine

necatiozmen··on Ask HN: What would be your stack if you are building an MVP today?
If I were building an MVP today, my stack would likely include a web framework such as Django or Ruby on Rails for the backend, a React framework such as refine for the frontend, and a database such as PostgreSQL for data storage.

refine is React based for building CRUD app rapidly. Repo: https://github.com/refinedev/refine With refine You can build admin panel, dashboard, internal tolls, and any CRUD app rapidly

It eliminates the repetitive tasks demanded by CRUD operations and provides solutions for critical parts like authentication, access control, routing, networking, state management, and i18n.

It also has connectors for 15+ backend services including REST API, GraphQL, NestJs CRUD, Airtable, Strapi, Strapi v4, Strapi GraphQL, Supabase, Hasura, Nhost, Appwrite, Firebase.. So you can save a lot of time from development time.

necatiozmen··on Ask HN: Hunting for a Framework
I recommend looking at open source react framework for building CRUD apps.

GitHub repo: https://github.com/refinedev/refine

It is headless by default and supports Material UI, AntDesign, Chakra UI, and Mantine.

necatiozmen··on Ask HN: Hobby coding that doesn’t feel like work
We have an open-source React-based framework called "refine" for easily building CRUD apps like Admin panels and Internal tools. It is headless by default and supports Material UI, AntDesign, Chakra UI, and Mantine.

You can build your side CRUD project easily.

Congrats on launching!

I'm happy to see that your guys are using our framework with Mantine UI for the back office.

I suggest you add a mock login page using AuthProvider.. It makes the app look cooler.

Our open source framework for building CRUD apps if anyone needed: https://github.com/refinedev/refine

By the way, did you backed by YCombinator?

necatiozmen··on Show HN: Open-Source Alternative to Retool
Congrats on the new releases!

We are running an open source React framework for building CRUD apps alternative for Retool and other similar tools.

Repo: https://github.com/refinedev/refine

It has built-in data provider support for popular backend services like REST API, GraphQL, NestJs CRUD, Airtable, Strapi v4, GraphQL, Supabase, Hasura, Nhost, Appwrite, Firebase, Directus etc.

It's not a drag and drop, headless by default but also supports Material UI, AntDesign, Chakra UI, and Mantine.

You can compare with Retool, AdminBro and other similar tools https://refine.dev/docs/comparison/

necatiozmen··on Show HN: An open-source React framework(4.2K stars) for building CRUD apps
We're working on reducing the boilerplate codes and repeated ones.

In the example, there are styling props (from material ui) and there are props required by react-hook-form to work. In the current way, we find it easier to adapt and use.

We don't want to introduce a "compact" way to handle form inputs which may look smaller but harder to maintain and also introduces a new API to learn.

Still, we're trying our best to reduce boilerplate codes and there's always a room for improvement

refine decoupled UI. It now just supports ant design but will support more UI frameworks on the roadmap.

state management is so much easier than react-admin (redux). refine use react-query for state management. so many features out-of-the-box (pooling, initial data, cache management, etc...).

refine makes extensive use of hooks as a default way for interacting with your components. React admin has hooks too but heavily uses components.

Lastly, react-admin has always been an inspiration for us. a great tool but now we think it will change
