not that this is a rule, i've seen hdds fail instantly for no reason as well, and flash media throw a massive wobbler but still be recoverable. but in my experience this is not the normal behaviour.
but who cares as long as you have backups and a contingency plan?

on a side note, glad i paid the extra cost for the 840 pro!

it should be right there at the top "nota - it's bacon for your computer" or whatever. instead i'm supposed to scroll and look at pictures and i still don't get it. looks to me like more effort was put into making a fancy design rather than an actual product, because if it was a product it'd be obvious what it was.
that would be problem 1 i suppose.
As for quick prototyping, they're both good for that once you know how to use them, and they both have excellent docs, although catalyst has been around for longer and has more deployments and realworld examples, which is always good.
Overall though, they're both constantly being improved, and competition is healthy, and it all depends in what you want, websockets, extra rapid prototyping and no deps, or reliability, support, large feature set, excellent scalability and a proven track record both in production and during development ;)
that said, some people don't like change, which is fine, it's what themes and extensions are for. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemer...
