In case anyone is unaware, libertarian socialism does exist and includes many schools of thought, my favourite being that of Bookchin and Ocalan.

I didn't get to try it under PipeWire on my Arch laptop before that died the other day, but a friend had said PulseEffects is no longer such a massive CPU hog under PipeWire, so much so that they run it all the time now.

Using JACK apps to route between PulseAudio apps under PipeWire is magic, as is being able to turn on external DACs after login and still be able to use them with JACK apps without restarting any software. Also PulseAudio not randomly switching to the wrong sample rate when I open pavucontrol is a blessing. (And it's so easy to setup, at least on Arch Linux.).

I have come to describe PW as like a superset of JACK and PulseAudio.

Also to note, #pipewire is very active on freenode, and wtay regularly drops into #lad.

I noticed it's like this on Amazon the other day. It meant I couldn't narrow down results to find what I wanted so I could give Amazon money

Nice though nothing about Turtle or LV2

Also, #swig (semantic web interest group) exists on freenode.

What kit has AV1 decode? Encode?

"And one more thing- which I'm sure doesn't apply to you- the idea that past harm justifies new harm is the same beliefs that justified the rise of a certain dictator in a certain central european power behaved in the 1930s/40s."

Those words are too vague. People were led to believe that the core of their government was being defrauded. Were they harmed? Did some of them go on to harm?

(I didn't see your flagged comment. Currently mine is at -3.)

Is downvoting to censor comments something that should be against the guidelines or not?

I wish https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=info.staticfre... (similar in an Android widget) worked without requiring location to be on all the time.

And the version of VCS AUR entries is just from the last time the PKGBUILD author ran it before uploading.

falkTX (of KXStudio/Carla/JACK/etc) made a fork of non-mixer that supports LV2 plugins;

https://github.com/falktx/non

Even deeper is JACK/LV2 CV;

and you got downvoted for pointing it out

Something utilising and also filling in the gaps of the JACK, LV2, and soon PipeWire based modular Linux/libre audio workstation (including NSM, CV, Atoms) but more of focus on Ableton Link than JACK Transport?

Check out Agordejo, Carla, Non-Mixer/jack_mixer, seq66 (nsm branch).

Subscribed. Shameless FOSS promulgation: how about a video or two on making an LV2 plugin? Maybe check out DPF and #lad / #lv2 on freenode.

Reads to me as a set polemical straw arguments against communalism and horizontalism; broad brush strokes (based on fiction) that belie the dynamic, empowering and pluralistic natures possible within so-called horizontal organisational dynamics. Like those who would paint social forms of "anarchism" as being without rules, a black and white conflation of a nuanced topic relating to social/progressive politics with a concept like totalitarianism. Not that there aren't dark pattern social dynamics relating to the topic that are worth talking about, but there really is no attempt to engage here, just an apparent horseshoe attempt to psychologically pin negative sentiments to some keywords.

I think incangold was implying you were spouting ad hominem.

Naturally, I'm not implying they are Noam Chomsky. Your rhetoric is very aggressive yet not really saying anything. I provide a source, and you don't.

In northern Syria there is Rojava and democratic confederalism;

Chippy chips haven't been the same since they had a hint of the taste of the newspaper outer wrapper's ink.

Your narrative really doesn't sound real, and your argument of "ignore them!" comes across to me an attempt to psychologically bias other readers who are even less knowledgeable.

Yanis in conversation with Chomsky, long but insightful.

Maybe they have actually been persecuted because of what their body naturally pefers sleep wise?

I'm not surprised that someone who sounds like they've been bullied over this would have their upset show through when they speak about something that directly related to this.
