EDIT: Looks like I fell hook, line, and sinker for the troll. Shame on me.

Seems like the word could be classified as a contronym in some sense.
I'm curious what he means by this solution harming vulnerable Americans. Are they the same vulnerable Americans that TurboTax tricked into paying for their product after enticing them in with promises of "completely free filing"?
The only truly "bad" movie of the bunch is their latest from 2020: "Earwig and the Witch". It's computer generated instead of hand-drawn but it looks like a computer generated film from the early '90s. Just ugly and uninspired. And the story was not good. It had promise but did absolutely nothing with it. Very disappointing film. Thankfully, it looks like their next release (summer 2023) will be back to the hand-drawn style.
> Prominent scrotums are an integral part of tanuki folklore, and they are shown and referred to throughout the film, and also used frequently in their shape-shifting. This remains unchanged in the DVD release, though the English dub (but not the subtitles) refers to them as "raccoon pouches".
I'd recommend anyone who is remotely interested in animation, Japanese films, or films in general to check them out. All but 2 (for licensing reasons) are available to stream on HBO Max. I believe they have both subbed and dubbed versions, though I preferred to watch with subs.
Wake up at 6. Get out of bed sometime between 6.15-6.30. Treadmill for the next 15-25 minutes. Shower. Breakfast. Meditate for 15 mins. Read or watch an episode of a 30 minute TV show. Log on to work at 8. Lunch break from 11.30-12.30. Work until 5. Eat. Watch a movie from 5.30 to whenever it's over. Read for the rest of the evening. In bed by 9. Asleep by 10.
I don't regret being on Twitter but I am learning to live without it these days. There's something freeing about a cold turkey detox from that increasingly hostile social network.
Anyway, I'm just rambling at this point. RIP Tweetbot. Thank you for making Twitter usable. Eagerly awaiting Ivory.

>Orange color scheme is fittingly Halloween-y for late October
Lol what? Are we to the point now where OS updates are so mundane that a highlight of the release is that the primary color scheme is "holiday relevant" for at most two weeks out of the year?
Not bashing Ventura - I haven't used it - I just feel like this is a weird thing to put in the "pro" column for a review of an operating system. Not that putting it in the "con" column would be any less weird...
Yes, this concept exists. The error message that is shown to the user (number 2) is what's discussed in the article. The error message that an engineer or someone else debugging the system should get (number 1) is the full stack trace and data dump that should be sent to the application log at the same time that the user is shown the error dialog.
Users can fix the problem by following the instructions in the error dialog and engineers or technical people can come back later and look at the more detailed stack trace to determine the best course of action.
Note that this doesn't remove the DRM or anything like that. This is simply storing a local copy of the iTunes-protected video on your Mac. But if the movie isn't available to stream anymore or your internet is down, you can use Home Sharing on the AppleTV to connect to your Mac and stream the downloaded version.
I have a Mac mini that exists almost exclusively to be the backup for all my digital content should I ever need it. All the movies are downloaded to a 14TB external drive which is then cloned to another 16TB external drive and also fully backed up to Backblaze.
