Mostly just observations on the technology industry.

I've only updated my blog a few times in the last year, but have actually written a lot of "posts" in a notebook. I'm planning on posting some of the better ones online over the course of this year.

monty_singhon Twitter is down

I haven't been able to get on Tweetdeck for a few hours.

monty_singhon Trello celebrates One Million Users

I started using Trello about 2.5 months ago and its really impacted the way I do almost everything for the better. It has made organizing a plan of action for my to-do's and side projects so much easier that I feel like a blow through my tasks now.

Congratulations and good luck on your way to 2 million users!

monty_singhon Want to be successful? Be inconsistent

It seemed like Bezo's was trying to get at the idea that its okay to revise your thoughts, opinions, course of action, ect. and be open about it. I think he's trying to promote thoughtfulness and contemplation ahead of pure conviction.

I don't think being "inconsistent" in thought is what he's getting at.

monty_singhon Startup = Growth

monty_singhon Show HN: Mixest, my summer project that crawls the web for new indie music

Guys/gals in need of ideas to hack together: this is a perfect example of what to aim for. A minimal, easy to use app that draws a passionate niche.

Easier said then done, I know. But this is really outstanding execution of a light app for music lovers. Great work.

monty_singhon Ask HN: Do any technology companies provide standing desks for their employees?

I believe you can get a standing desk for your cube at Intel. I remember seeing quite a few of them.

monty_singhon New in Reader: a fresh design, and Google+ sharing

The inferior UI I could deal with, but eliminating note in reader? Deal breaker. And it seems they've deleted existing notes. Terrible.
