US and EU banking rails are both fully supported!
You can also try the dev build at https://staging.peanut.me but it's quite unstable atm
(they are only claimable once, so please be courteous and don't claim all, leave some for other users!)

We're bringing currency back to cryptocurrency. We care a LOT about UX and are at the forefront of chain and account abstraction. We’re making crypto actually usable as a currency and not just a degenerate gambling fiesta.
We are VC-funded ($1.4m pre-seed), advised by heavyweights like ex-venmo CTO, and founded by Harvard alum.
Apart from Project Manager, we have some other roles we're hiring for. Review and find them here: https://peanut.to/jobs (and list HN as the place you learned about us!)
I can still re-enable it, but it seems like June 2025 is the actual deadline for support removal. Ostensibly because uBlock Origin doesn't comply with Googles "best practices", but in reality because it threatens their business model.
Now I'm faced with the personal question of which browser to migrate to. The whole ecosystem seems very unhealthy to me, with Firefox getting 80% of their revenue because of Google, Brave being based on Chromium, and there virtually not being any other independent browser because writing a browser is an insanely complex undertaking.
Thoughts from the HN crowd?
Still, fragmentation of crypto makes the whole experience shitty - but we've been working on this to fix that: https://docs.peanut.to/checkout-api

Self-taught is perfectly fine, as long as you're really good :)

They're ostensibly an audit/security firm, but miss many vulns
Most egregiously recently they tried to blackmail Kraken, a big exchange, for $2m
We're a pretty early stage startup in crypto. We make payments easier. We love an aligned team, good vibes, and shipping well. High equity & token comp if you want it (we'd love that).

see you!
Falcon 9 costs 67 million for external customers, for internal use the cost will likely be lower. Let's say 50. 50 * 118 gives us a HIGH estimate of 5.6 billion, but i'd expect it to be much closer to 3-4 b.
Satellites are relatively cheap. Total cost below 10b, certainly not 40b
Does anyone know what they have on the roadmap for 2.0? I'm curious what they are working towards.
Bring currency back to cryptocurrency. Build a world where value flows freely through buttery smooth transactions.

We're building Tools to get rid of paypal/visa/mastercard and other rent seekers.
Here's mine: https://peanut.to
There's lots of other people building useful stuff in the space.
My dms are open if anyone wants to chat
Project Description: We make it possible to send crypto ($ or NFTs) with just a link.
How to test: Connect your wallet and try sending some small $ amount to your friends :)
Also would love any type of feedback! What features would you like to see, what integrations do you are possible with these type of magic links?
thanks!
But we really want to deploy on all sorts of chains and offer very very simple UX for users. No one should have to care about bridging between chains or swapping or what currency they are getting paid in. If crypto is to get mass adoption, stuff should be dead simple.
Rest of the stack: - postgres DB - Flask Backend - Alpine JS / TailwindCSS / HTMX / ethersjs / web3modal on Frontend (and then obviously the decentralized smart contracts)
Happy to answer other questions!
The first thing we've built is https://peanut.to - a way to pay people with just a link.
Happy to take feedback and suggestions!
People recommend ethernauts[1] and cryptozombies[2], but I found those quite slow when I was learning. Most useful for me was reading existing implementations of smart contracts, and learning from there.
M1guelpf wrote these a while ago, might be helpful examples: https://github.com/m1guelpf/lil-web3

Audible giving creators only a 25% cut (or 40% if they sign an exclusive deal) is absolutely exploitative. For a DIGITAL product! That's insane.
Props to Sanderson, and props to all the other people with integrity.
Isn't hand made ableist? What about the people with no hands? Can't they create things without the usage of hands?
This is a never ending rabbithole of idiocy.
