monotone666··on Online activists are silencing us, scientists say
The problem is that in many chronic fatigue patients they would have to choose between physical/talk therapy and eating or showering for the day. Its a severe disabling condition, not just feeling "tired."
monotone666··on Online activists are silencing us, scientists say
Copy of what I sent him:

"5 years ago I wanted to be a pro wrestler and had taught myself a couple advanced level gymnastic skills. I went to shovel snow one day after a blizzard and after 12 hours of work developed a case of mono that lasted for three months. i was never able to do my workout routine more than once every week or two after that. In 2016 I got a job that required me to walk 13 miles a day and lift 100 pounds. I got mono and switched to a job that just required 5 mins of work and 8 hours of staying awake. my case of mono lasted for a year until i quit my job. it was devastating, i became frequently confused and unable to understand language and lost over half of my physical strength. most foods would induce pain that lasted days. I got better after I quit my job with a treatment i found a doctor recommend online. since then ive sleep 16 hours a day and get sore throats if i spend too long on my feet. im frequently sore and tired and unable to exercise. i could still beat your ass tho pussy."

monotone666··on Dropgangs, or the future of darknet markets
Dead drops can’t compete with USPS. They require a court order to open your package and even then can’t charge anyone with possession. All they do is send you a “love letter” and people have reported receiving future packages just fine.

Millions of people use dark net marketplaces. The war on drugs has fueled their growth and more serious crimes like identity theft have benefited from it.

monotone666··on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I eat a low carb diet. I don’t think ketogenic is a good idea due to liver and kidney damage. I do intermittent fasting everyday. I keep meaning to go on a longer fast every now and then...

I recently got food stamps so I’ve been enjoying food more :)

monotone666··on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Mitochondrial dysfunction is present in the vast majority of people with the condition.
monotone666··on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I’ve been diagnosed with CFS. I had a diagnosis of Kawasaki disease, autoimmune vasculitis, at age 3. And reoccurring fevers and sore throats every three months (coresponds with lifecycle of EBV). Pneumonia and mono as a teenager. I’ve had a mild case of CFS for a little over six years that became more severe three years ago, both following mono infections. I’m unable to work without a recovery period that lasts for days. During a year long infection with the Epistein Barr Virus I lost my sense of smell, started losing my hearing, have problems with depth perception/driving, and the sustained focus required for reading. I lost my ability to do circuit analysis and BASH. I used to be a high level athlete and lost half my strength. I got very lucky and discovered that iodine can treat Epistein Barr Virus, otherwise the prognosis for a EBV infection of longer than 6 months (CAEBV) is death. The requirements to get disability in the United States for the disease of CFS basically requires a diagnosis of CAEBV plus a impossible to prove “subjective” criteria that basically guarantees you will have to go in front of a judge and be subjected to their opinion of the condition. When shopping for a lawyer I was refused to even have it on my application as a disabling condition despite it being listed in the social security “blue book.”

I’m also missing 10% of my mitochondrial DNA and have a gene which is the single largest risk factor for MS (also caused by EBV).

I lost my mind during the last infection.

The virus is interesting. It’s one of the most common viruses and has an ability to cause the body to “forget” adaptive immunity. It reproduces in response to low vitamin B12 levels or mitochondrial dysfunction.

monotone666··on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I have chronic fatigue and my condition is improved by fasting. Fasting triggers autophagy and hgh release. Most of the symptoms of CFS are the same as low hgh levels, and people with CFS have low hgh.
monotone666··on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
There was a study in 2008 that showed the majority of people with chronic fatigue had mitochrondrail dysfunction that corelated with the severity of symptoms.

>interstate frequently blocked

By whom? Traffic is just an argument for mass transit

That’s an argument for more government not less. They’re fine where I live.

>speed limit low

It’s reasonable in cities and towns

>construction expensive and slow

Also high quality

You already have a beurocracy in “your” health care system. It’s just a private one and not a public one. The difference is cost involved in administrative overhead deciding who gets care and for what.

A nation needs a good health care system and a good road system to afford productive workers.

Both systems when implemented poorly cause human death and disability.

monotone666··on High Crime in the Cocaine Industry
Pure cocaine is a peaceful subtle drug. The product produced by cartels, even at 90% purity is cut with amphetamines, bath salts, and other gross drugs.

Pure cocaine is habit forming but the cravings seem to be more of a daily than a hourly thing, which is the case with cut products.

If you do cocaine you can practice harm reduction by washing in acetone, and if you have it available, cloraform. “Pink cocaine” available on the dark net has been washed using the above methods, then cut with b vitamins.

monotone666··on Update to Ask HN: What to do if I’m about to lose my job to mental health issues
I had a psychotic break from reality while employed a few years ago. This was mostly due to a long term viral infection...

It sounds like you can barely work. Is it possible for you to get a easier job or one that’s more physical? Taking care of the bare minimums like food and shelter are priority number one. Everything else comes second.

Therapy and meds can go a long way but you’ll still face living with a disability.

The outlook is bleak unless you can provide for yourself and at least enjoy eating.

I recommend cats and cspan.

monotone666··on The Salt Scam
The Japanese have a iodine intake much higher than the RDA and have a lower risk of cancer. Iodine modulates p53 and mitochondrial induced apoptosis.

Iodine can also reduce plaque formations in arteries.

Iodine is also concentrated in the retina and prevents UV damage. Also prevents cateracts.

Look up Guy Abraham he was a professor of endocrinology at UCLA and has used iodine to treat thyroid disorders.

I had Chronic Active Epistein Barr Virus and iodine cured me.

The part of it that was damaging was that I was attempting to work as a data center security guard (to later become a data center tech). my employer responded to my inability to do my job or even get up and leave the building, by interrogating me. it constantly replays in my head for years now and the only time I really calm down is when I smoke weed or get drunk or something.

I’ve been diagnosed with Delusional Disorder after a long term infection with the Epistein Barr Virus. I spent a period of time in a deep psychosis. What it seems like now is my brain trying to make meaning out of something traumatic. I believed I was one of the most important people in the world when I was in a state of shock. The delusion still persists despite heavy doses of psychiatric drugs.
